finally :D

any chance we get jb stock option, i.e. keys lighting up only when they're touched, not whenever screen is touched?
well, that part is handled by the ROM, not via kernel AFAIK ;)

Awesome. My problem is probably the one everyone have. Fast dormancy issues, I used google and searched and every single bloody option is for SGS2, how do I actually disable it. (I know the build.prop ones are useless according to what is read)
i honestly don't have problems with fast dormancy, and this is also a part of the ROM, not kernel ;)

Sent from my LG Optimus 4X HD using xda premium
not yet ;)
@@non4 just tested the stock v006 version and it's working :D
so i need to pack it into a flashable zip with all modules and then you will have your stock version :p

but i don't think i can make it tonight, as i have a lot of work to do ATM, but at least tomorrow evening it will be online ;)

Thanks for Stock Version. But I think, Zip contains wrong modules. The size of the modules (and the date) is the same as for CM and they are 10 times smaller than in Werewolf_Stock_V005. So I think, they are wrong... (Sorry if I´m wrong!)

Tried to copy modules from Stock_V005 in Zip for Stock_V006. Installed modified Zip/Kernel, booted and seems to work properly. Will test for a while...

well, the modules are not (directly) related to stock or CM. the only difference between stock and CM is the ramdisk. the kernel stays for both versions the same. and as modules are "add-ons" for the kernel, they are not related to stock/CM.

also the modules have another size because i changed them a bit, if i remember correctly ;) :D

I tested the stock version before release and there was some problems with I/O performance, I'm testing a new build after work ;)

Stock Version has massive problems with data connection. U see "H"-symbol (or "E") but no traffic possible. One or two times, i got some data, but most of time, no data / no connection. Rebooted twice, delete dalvik und normal cache, changed to GSM-only, Flight-Mode and back to 3G, allways the same problems...

well, i don't use stock, so i can't help you ATM. @@non4 tested it and said it'd work just fine for him...
please enter the following in terminal and give me the output:
Code:
lsmod

Alright guys, v007 is up :)

From now on, we officially support CM, Stock and MIUIAndroid.

Special thanks go to @arararagi for his hardware customizations, and to @SMillerNL for some eye candy ;)
About the mentioned eye candy, i won't tell you what it is, let's see who's gonna be the first discovering ;) :D
Ohh, and don't even bother looking at GitHub, you won't find it there :p :D

and here's the changelog, as usual:
Code:
  - Updated SIO, ROW and Deadline
  - Added smartmax gov
  - Added runnable threads couquiet gov
  - Completely re-worked cpuquiet
  - Set default max freq to 1.5GHz - everyone should be able to boot this kernel now
  - Beaten skin throttle - no more useless performance throttling
  - Added Ad-Hoc mode
  - Added arararagi's hardware customizations  -  Thanks a lot man :)
     * Control of Torch brightness
     * Control of backlight
     * Control of charging current
     * Disabled baseband wakelocks
     * Control of Vibrator strength
     * Control of used backlight HVLEDs
     * Control of Livecolors
Enjoy! :)

installed it, all works well. i'm guessing we need arararagi's toolbox apk from his rom thread, in order to control some of the stuff? i installed it, brightness control works perfectly, livecolor works fine although the difference is subtle, i think charge control works, but i cant seem to get more than 905 mA, no matter if i select 1550.

i'm not sure what KSM is exactly so i wont tinker with it ;p

also, a question, how to control torch brightness exactly? inside torch app or? thank you!

btw, this kernel is now a really whole package. this awesome backlight control by arararagi has made a huge difference, and i think will be incredible battery saver! props!

Where to find? Only for CM? I´m on Stock V20a...

Kernel ist booting, but seems to be a bit laggy. Scrolling in some apps lags (not in all apps), frequencies seems very high. Screen on, frequency never goes below 500 Mhz, may be that causes high battery drain?!

indeed, just install his apk and you'll be fine ;)
max current should be still locked to max 1A, 'cause i don't like higher currents. even 1A via USB port can damage your lappy/PC
KSM, well, try it :p but it's enabled by default anyways ;) just google a bit ;)
TBH, i don't know ATM if arararagi's toolbox supports torch brightness, but i don't think so. in order to use this function, you'll have to flash a ROM supporting the features (arararagi's ROM for sure ;) :D )

like above (and in the 2nd post ;) ) mentioned, just install arararagi's toolbox and you're good ;)

and about lags, no problems here. also lower freqs are used as normal.
but after wiping /cache and dalvik cache, give it some time to go back to "normal" (can take up to 2 or 3 charging cycles)

i found a way to make torch brightness work, but it's kinda in reverse; i'm on jellybeer rom, which is based on CM, so it has CM torch app - when you select "high brightness" from within the app, the torch actually shines with low brightness, while leaving "high brightness" off, torch flash shines with proper stock strength. awesome!

as for ksm, i just read up on it, i get what it's used for now, but the options we can select are "fast" and "default". i'm guessing fast is by default on, while default is ksm disabled? also, what do the numbers represent, when i hit refresh, i get xxx/yyyy type of number?

Very strange, but I think it's possible that it's jellybeer, I don't remember any torch issues. I rarely use it so I could be wrong though ;)

[OFFTOPIC] Ever used "instant heart rate" with stock strength led brightness? It burns your goddamn hands!!! [/OFFTOPIC]

Wifi reboots

If I try to enable wifi, Handy reboots immediately. Also most of time, screen on takes a lot of time to bring screen and widgets back, seems to lag very hard. (I use smart screen on/off, which uses the proximity sensor to turn on/off the screen while covering though my pocket). I tried again with some reboots and wiping cache and dalvik, but problems remains. Stock version seems allways a problem for me, never could use werewolf without problems on stock. With Iodak, I have no problems, so I dont think, I will try a full wipe only for a test...(I have over 200 apps installed and many personalized things)

can you provide a log of the crash please?
