no need to, i think i know what the problem isI tried to use your Vanir version of the kernel with nuclearmistake's Vanir Rom (22/09) and installation process was fine, no errors, I wiped cahce and dalvik before and after, but when I tried to reboot I stucked at the app optimization and I had some graphical issues.
I waited a long time, but as nothing happened I pulled out the battery and reinstalled the Rom. I tried it several other times, with and without wiping but it just didn't work.
Unfortunately I forgot to take a logcat, I'll try to give you one later or tomorrow![]()
yeah, just use tricksterMOD and you should be finehey mate awesome kernel. been using it for 24h now and all works smooth with latest cyanogen stable version 10.1.3
one question, can I use voltage control app with this kernel? sorry if thats been answered allready but I really dont have the time to go trough hundreds of pagesnot beeing lazy. I'm at work and would appreciate your help on this one.
Other question: is this kernel compatible with trickstermod app ?
that's exactly the problem...@laufersteppenwolf: I flashed v008b Vanir over the latest Vanir Rom and it ended up with random color lines and LG logojust asking if it's the same for you or if I messed something up

Do you have the right version of the Kernel? (the one for CM10.1)I am running CM 10.1.3 Stable and with v008 the phone does not boot every time. Sometimes it says stuck on the LG logo. And sometimes when it does boot there is no network connection and it says unknown IMEI and I have to reboot again. The issue was the same with CM 10.1.2 and v008b as well.
And one more thing, I get a lot of baseband and wlan wakelocks when wi-fi is on. Battery drains like crazy when the phone idles (6%/h). Is there something I can do and still be able to keep wi-fi/data constantly on?
Yes, both v008 and v008b are the CM 10.1 versions.Do you have the right version of the Kernel? (the one for CM10.1)
no, i sadly cannot, as i don't face this issue...After I flashed this kernel
I found that when I'm listening to music using earphone, there will be some background noises, even when the music is not playing.
Can you fix it?
+1, no such issueno, i sadly cannot, as i don't face this issue...
