Yeap...You do that, it helps the community here...Btw how's vanir performance than other normal CM based roms?

Quite interesting to see people feedback about vanir rom recently...
i am using vanir rom for 3 days now, and i am impressed how rom works
yes it has some occasional screen freezes, but overall performance is great, could say that i like it more than cm10.2
everything is smooth, lag free, like a butter, memory consumption is great, around 300 mb free (greenify is working)
if screen freezing now and then is not big issue for you, try it, i am enjoying it more than slimbeam, which was my second best rom after cm, but probably vanir will go into first place, because as i said, i am liking it more and more every day

I tried to use your Vanir version of the kernel with nuclearmistake's Vanir Rom (22/09) and installation process was fine, no errors, I wiped cahce and dalvik before and after, but when I tried to reboot I stucked at the app optimization and I had some graphical issues.
I waited a long time, but as nothing happened I pulled out the battery and reinstalled the Rom. I tried it several other times, with and without wiping but it just didn't work.
Unfortunately I forgot to take a logcat, I'll try to give you one later or tomorrow :)

I am using your kernel now with arararagi's CM. I didn't have RIL problems so far, which I had a lot on iodak's kernel. However I get a lot of Baseband wakelocks. Plus, this weekend I used Google Maps Navigation;after a while the screen started to show grey lines (was connected to the car charger) and the battery was empty.

one question, can I use voltage control app with this kernel? sorry if thats been answered allready but I really dont have the time to go trough hundreds of pages ;) not beeing lazy. I'm at work and would appreciate your help on this one.

Other question: is this kernel compatible with trickstermod app ?

yeah, just use tricksterMOD and you should be fine ;)

@laufersteppenwolf: I flashed v008b Vanir over the latest Vanir Rom and it ended up with random color lines and LG logo :p just asking if it's the same for you or if I messed something up ;) (I did wipe caches)

that's exactly the problem... :D
i'm working on it, but i am pretty busy lately...

Tks for the quick reply. I checked trickstermod and haven't got the time to play with settings but I found some interesting info about the device.

How come LP has such high voltage when compared to Main CPU?

For the GPU its understandable but shouldnt LP have some lower voltages ?

Sorry for the quiz and I'm sorry if what I'm saying makes no sense at all but I'm new to LG 4x scene and I'm still trying to figure this device out.

I have to say that your 008b kernel is rock solid along with latest cyanogen stable version 10.1.3.

blazing fast with no lag at all even underclocked to 1200 and battery life after using greenify and disabling a couple of wakelocking apps is the best I've tested so far.

I am running CM 10.1.3 Stable and with v008 the phone does not boot every time. Sometimes it says stuck on the LG logo. And sometimes when it does boot there is no network connection and it says unknown IMEI and I have to reboot again. The issue was the same with CM 10.1.2 and v008b as well.

And one more thing, I get a lot of baseband and wlan wakelocks when wi-fi is on. Battery drains like crazy when the phone idles (6%/h). Is there something I can do and still be able to keep wi-fi/data constantly on?

Do you have the right version of the Kernel? (the one for CM10.1)
