I'm on f936b-bwa2. Works great! :O)

My only hookup is - the “Show Or Hide Status Bar Icons” setting - unlike the other settings - doesn't survive a reboot. I mean I have 3minit clock and Line battery enabled, so in this setting hide the system clock and battery.

After every reboot the “Show Or Hide...” is reset to the default 2 items and stock clock and battery is not hid, has to be reenabled again, whereby it's then reset on next boot.

Any idea what could be causing it - how to fix it?
Are you on OneUI 5.1 ?
Could be an A13 issue. Not sure. Will look into it

I have attached a modified version of the WETAmod.apk. Using a zipfile app, open WETAmod file you installed.
got to system/priv-app/WETAmod. replace that file with the apk below.

I'm on One UI 5.0.

I've uninstalled the mod — something about it significantly slows the system down — this is the behavior I've experienced:

— when I click on app properties — for any app — in the launcher, normally the system takes cca. 1 second to bring up the app's properties window, with the mod cca 4 seconds
— when I click any file in a file manager, four which a default opening app is not set, it brings up the “open with” selection window, normally cca half a second, with the mod cca 3 seconds

So, something significant is going on there that's causing a gigantic slowdown.

never experienced that on my N20 ultra or S22+

It's been bugging me for the past number of days — I have many xposed mods and magisk modules, so took some time disabling and enabling to find the combination what's causing it.

Now, everything enabled — lag, everything enabled only weta mod disabled — no lag. That's how I determined it was it.

    WETAmod for Fold4:

    Requirements:
    1. Must be rooted
    2. Install as module in Magisk

    Only for Samsung Fold4phones!

This mod is based on work by @Mentalmuso.
I have completely upgraded the core settings code, added more functionality and recompiled to a newer SDK. It now also has a change log, acknowledgements, credits, fixes such as backup/restore WETAmod settings.

PM me if you want Telegram link - not yet available

    Downloads:

    Android 13 only
    Gdrive - Fold4

A 2nd WETAmod file is also included: WETAmod*-Framework.apk
This file includes a modified framework.jar for A13

If you do not see your model, send message with the following:
    Model # (ex: SM-F936U)
Region (ex: USA) - country not time zone

It may take a day or two to make a WETAmod for your model. Please have patience.

How to add seconds to 3Minit Clock:
    1. click on edit icon (lower right corner)
    2. click "add item to clock" - it's at the top
    3. scroll the circles to the left - select the colon :)) - it's right after am/pm - click ok
    4. click "add item to clock" - it's at the top
    5. scroll the circles to the left - select the seconds - it's right after Minutes - click ok
    6. Afterwards, you can modify color, size and font

    Hello and good afternoon, @gcrutchr

Negative, I won't because the new device fora don't have a "Themes etc." section any longer but I've changed the prefix of your thread.

Additionally, I've closed the other two duplicates of this thread that you'd created. Please urgently review the XDA Forum Rules with special emphasis on rule no. 5 and post only ONCE! Thanks for your cooperation.

Thank you…when I posted and saved, I could not find what I posted. So, I tried again…again, could not see what I posted. I accidentally posted in Questions. Sorry for all the trouble I caused.

So install both modules in Magisk? Meaning the 1st one is the WETAmod itself, the 2nd one the framework.jar mod? Do I understand it correctly?
No. If you already have a modified framework.jar, install WETAmod. Otherwise, install WETAmod-framework
