What about changing IMEI

People, I want to change my own IMEI with an old one from a turc device. In turkey they'll ban my device because of his Austrian IMEI from every carrier in turkey.

This device is mine, and its not stole nor I didn't done something illegal. I just want to use my device on the vacation.

Sounds that risky?

I don't know if you can, as IMEI numbers are unique to different devices..

On HTC Sensation / Sensation XL the IMEI ist stored in mmcblk0p6 and can be chanced. But wasn't able to find the position of it on my device

So, any Idea where the IMEI could be stored? Somehow i cant read any strings on my device
