What about nexus 7 ?

Hey what u think about the nexus 7 2012 and nexus 7 2013. Are there many difference? Cause in poland the nexus 7 2012 cost 100€ and the 2013 cost 170€. I want to buy a tablet and sell my phone cause i don't call much and the 2x is not so good for gaming because tegra2. I just want buy a good and cheap tablet for gaming :> ahh btw i want to play games like asphalt, gta on highest settings

Probably if you want to ask about Nexus 7, you should post your question in Nexus 7 section not Optimus 2X section. Anyway, you can easily search on google for Nexus 7 2012 vs Nexus 7 2013 or Nexus 7 2013 Review. Here is one link that I read before from Anandtech:

Key difference is 2013 model is using 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro + 2 GB RAM, older model is using Tegra 3 + 1 GB RAM (different SoC and amount of RAM).

And also, the new 2013 nexus 7 has a SIM Card slot. I have a 2012 nexus 7 and I use tethering with the o2x all the time. Its fantastic!

Well, it's not fully true. You can get the only wifi tablet. Wooby, I recently bought myself a 2012 nexus 7 wifi only and I can't complain. Ram is more than enough to play games or do work + development is far from death. But of course, if you want to use the tablet for more than few years, you should try 2013 one.

I have the 2013 model. Quiet nice. Once charged works for a week and approx SOT of about 12 hours. Plus games are nice to play on this..

If you want it for gaming, get yourself a nexus 7 2013. Its GPU is by far better than what the older model has got (even though the tegra 3 is still sufficient, but it would be much more future proof).
I've got a 2012 one and my gf has a 2013 one and the difference in speed and smoothness is very much noticeable.
