What are our chances of a flat screen model, any at all

How about not having to deal with the still many compromises of a gimmicky aesthetic that adds nothing.

Glass that rounds down to the side bezels with a flat screen would be best.
It would help with edge gestures and look/feel nice without all the downsides like display distortion and accidental touches.

I like the Edge. Makes phone feel more premium, looking at all flat screens makes me think of old school stuff. S7E was to much for me but I was able to use it without a problem. And now when Note 7 have a smaller edge it will be perfection + 5.7 display

I was not a fan of the S7 edge screen at all and would not purchase one. After going to BB and seeing the Note 7 in person I wouldn't have a problem with it.
