Some of you might have heard that about a week ago opera released a statement saying its new full mobile beta (not mini) will be available within a month.
The 2 major features stated are multi touch and hardware acceleration. Im a fan of opera mobile from using it on my tp2 and occasionally on my hd2 and I'm pretty hopeful of a new top browser to choose from.
My question is whether hardware acceleration might work on out hd2s with our custom roms, it should make zooming and navigation rapid, but if we are using a desire be Rom it might try and use that graphics driver instead of the hd2 one, resulting in failure?
I know the only way we will really find out is when its released, but I wondered if any smart codes could add some theories of how the hw acceleration could work.
