I've still got my old NST sitting in a drawer somewhere and I've been thinking about trying to dust it off to do some kind of simple project with it. Anyone doing anything useful with it these days aside from reading epub files?

What app are you using for the display and how's it getting the data? I've thought about trying to use a feed from a nearby weather station on weather underground to do something similar but wasn't sure where to start.

I have a Raspberry Pi that runs the systems here and keeps status.
It also polls the weather data and can serve everything up on an Apache server.
I don't use the WiFi, I use adb forward tcp:1234 tcp:1234.
Then I just have a daemon on the RPi that spits out on TCP a field ID and a text value.
The app running on the Glow3 is really just an XML layout and a simple TCP listener to set fields.
