Hi all,

I know HTC ONE has Beats Audio Boomsound to power the 2 speaker.
But what is the audio chip does it use?

I have Sony Xperia Z pair with Shure SE215SE(blue) which i think a perfect match for the music i listen to the most.

Just wondering if i switch to ONE, will it deliver the same.

I listen to k-pop the most, which is very many electric instruments and bass.

Not sure about the audio chip. But the speakers is surely sound incredible. And yes, sometimes I listen to k-pop songs too, and I'm impressed with the speakers performance. :)

"snapdragon 600 variant GS4 will come with Qualcomm's own audio chip, perhaps the same one found in my US GS3 (WCD9310)."
I read GS3 has wolfson chipset which i like very much but not the most. Sony Xperia Z (not sure the chipset) is the one i love the most pairing with SE215

Too many people focus on the boomsound, but i will use the headphone jack when i am on the bus so it will depend on which engine to juice it.

The One does indeed use a Qualcomm WCD9310. I've read it powers up to 80ohms :)
