This was the first one I ordered:

Great case, perfect cutout and good protection. My complaint was that it was slightly too slippery on the back. Felt like at any minute it could slip out of my hand.

So then I purchased this one:

I had this same case for my HTC Evo 3D/4g. Probably not enough protection for a high drop but im able to grip it well. Only major complaint is the buttons are flat. I have to look or feel closely when trying to press volume/power button. Nevertheless Im satisfied.

Looks like the Tyre case would be abysmally popular with automobile fanatics, just because it has both the oil resistant grip and look and feel of a tyre.
