Good luck and please post your findings. ?

I know I posted these issues somewhere else (perhaps my Amazon.com review?). Therein, I mentioned I was looking for a replacement. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything yet that fits my needs.

I want a slim case, as the phone is already bulkier than a lot of others these days. A lot of the products don't cover the buttons... I want this. Also, there were many reviews of cases that didn't sit tight on the front of the phone... The case warped/ stretched out, I guess.

So, my issues are not best case scenario, but after an extensive search, they aren't the worst. I saw recently that incipio makes a slim case for the moto g 2015. It is quite expensive comparatively, so I am nervous about dropping $20 (almost 3x as much as the diztronic) on another attempt. Anyone here try this case? How does it work / feel?

It's possible. When I posted my review on amazon, no response came from diztronic saying any such thing. I could have pursued it further, but I guess I just didn't. So, I went with the assumption that their product was lower quality.

Mine might have a defect in the shape leaving the large gap between the middle back of the phone and the case. However, I'd find it hard to believe the easily scratched finish (and highly visible look of such scratches) is a defect. That definitely looks like a byproduct of the material used. This of course, could be the case with many other TPU cases. My last phone had a bulky otterbox. I decided I needed to try something slim, especially on this thicker phone. So this is my first TPU case.

I believe Amazon has a good return policy. It might be worth trying if the reviews are there. (not to mention, it's a good price compared to an incipio or otterbox)

I still believe that original back cover is enough for phone it has better grip to the phone then any other case I used . I use Motorola flip case and another one in think ringke one and the one that covers all the phone including front screen panel (can't remember name), but I keep coming back to not have any cover as they just making my phone too bulky. The only thing I keep on these days is a decent glass screen protector. I still think my moto e 2nd gen was better for throwing it around but this moto is not bad at all. I do miss my interchangeable colour strips from moto e 2nd gen. I am an landscaper and I had xperia z phone before those one and it was a nightmare so flat and all glass break like an egg. Motorola I think is the only company that make quite durable phones with decent specs.

So no case, happy days

I use motomo case. It's made from this rubber-plastic (nice in touch). Back of case is from aluminum.
@cscz77 do you mind taking some pictures? I've seen this on eBay and it looks nice but there's only a shot of the back straight on. I'm imagining it might just make the phone quite blocky.

So I decided to give the cimo x case a shot, as I've been less and less thrilled with my diztronic. Here's the link:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0110NIK8O/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It is thinner than the diztronic, feeling like a skin. Given that, I do wonder how much it is going to protect my phone in a fall. I have only had it for a few days, but it does seem to sit more snugly to the phone than the diztronic. There is a little play around the camera cutout, but not as much as the diztronic. So far (again, it's only been a few days) it isn't carrying any damaging marks on it from regular use. I will note, the X shape on the back is super polished and reflective. That definitely shows smudges... but not too prominent (certainly not as bad as the easily marked diztronic looked). The lip that goes over the face of the phone is smaller than the diztronic, and has less structural integrity. This leaves me to wonder if it'll deform over time and stretch out (eventually not fitting the phone snugly)... only time will tell.

All in all, I'm happier with this than the diztronic. Not perfect, but very good.

Ringke fusion is the best case

I second this. Amazing case: great protection (raised lips!!), tactile buttons, doesn't make phone bulky. Only complaint is that dust etc can get caught in behind the case and looks kinda bad. Easy to clean though. If yo dont like the hole covers you can just rip them off.

I would third this... Clearly the best G3 case I've found, and I'm kind of a case whore, probably have at least 10-12 cases for this device (ok, I may have a problem, just don't ask about my Nexus 4 case collection). I have even printed a few labels and stuck them in and they look good too.

None. I've bought so much cases in the last but at the end of the day, I buy a phone and want to physical enjoy the phone without any protective layer. Life is too short, really enjoy the moment.

Anyone here use a Supcase Unicorn Beetle? I'm going to uni soon so want something tough but I'm worried this will be super bulky. Any opinions?
It's ok... Liked it on my G, although in my opinion it takes more force to press the buttons than it should. Although I dumped it for a Ringke Fusion as soon as they released and never looked back.

FWIW, I ordered one for my X mid-July and dumped it in a month for something else... I don't know if they changed the plastic formulation for all cases, but it was even harder to press than buttons than my year old one on my G, to the point I felt I might damage something because I had to press so heard.
