Question What Case Will You Be Getting?

I went with a somewhat pricy one, as I bought it directly from a local Verizon dealer, and I forget the name. They are a reputable manufacturer of cases so I knew it was worth the price for protection and it didn't disappoint.

It's a unibody design with stiff plastic with a rigid rubber lining. I believe areas such as the buttons and inner frame is magically a mix of both, so it flexes but takes impact like a beast. The lip around the front is excellent and allows the camera to lay flush when on its back.

I'm currently using Testor modeling paint to Pixelize the look of the texture edges. Still in options so it's still a bit rough. Gotta let's it dry, apply a matte clear coat and scrape off the errors with an Xacto blade.

It's the Incipio Grip case... one that I've been refreshing non-stop for on their website for the last week. Hasn't come back in stock though.

Did you get it from a Verizon authorized dealer or a corporate Verizon store? I may try my luck at one or the other.

I ordered a black defender from their website last weekend and still no confirmation email. I even called a few days ago and the guy said he was able to find some info and he'll put it on express shipping.

That was now 4 days ago and still no tracking number for me...

That sucks! Thanks for the information. I think most of the time in the past I found my OtterBox Defender cases through Amazon - not sure if I ever actually went directly through them but I wouldn't have expected those kinds of problems. Good to know. Good luck, hope you get your case soon.

How is that covert case? Like how grippy are the sides? Been eyeing this one, but wondering how it grips. Is it a soft like grip?

It's a soft grip and I love the feel in hand ...the more you use it I feel makes it better in hand feeling ...

Done! Got the cloudy clear, since I like seeing the white on mine. Also found a 30% off code (POWERUP), which made the total roughly $11! Can't beat that. Thanks again for the info.

True. This is exactly why I'm not getting these types of cases for my phones. I carry a wallet, it's fine for my ID and stuff.

I got the dbrand grip case with the robot camo skin. I love this case. It offers pretty good protection around and it just so slighty gives the camera a bit of protection with the raised edges.

I have a Spigen Tough Armor case arriving tomorrow from Amazon (phone is expected to ship from T-Mobile 11/30 - 12/14 but I hope it is sooner). I have the Spigen Slim Armor on my Galaxy Z Fold3. Getting Spigen cases at Amazon can be much cheaper that directly from Spigen.

So far I've tried these cases:

Official Google Case - Stormy Sky: The case looks great but feels cheap and has a poor fit. After a week of use, it felt loose and you could feel the phone moving around. There are visible gaps on the sides letting light through. It will be going back.

Spigen Core Armor: Case looks and feels great. Much sturdier and a firmer fit. The "carbon fiber" look and texture gives it a more premium look. I like how it protects the edges of the camera bar which were a weak spot on the Google case. I found this case through Verizon. This is a hit so far.

Other cases I've considered are the RhinoShield SolidSuit Carbon and the Bellroy Leather case.

Yea this is going to be my case for sure. I returned by Spigen. I bought an Anker magnet ring and Magsafe Popsocket but unfortunately the magnet ring by itself interferes with wireless charging. I'm just going to use the case without a Popsocket.

I like how that case protects the camera glass. It's one of the only ones I've seen with this. But 60 CAD - I'm not so sure. I'll look for a discount code. (using both caseology cases the parallax feels great but looking for that extra camera protection)

Do you have photos of your phone with peel case on and maybe compared to other cases you have? I currenlty have the original google case for my 6pro, but leaning towards the peel, cant find photos of anyone having it though. Thanks.
