S23 Ultra is the phone which we are waiting for almost 10 Years. It have ZERO lagg, 2 days battery, super thermal management, camera far above the rest.
I can clearly say: This Samsung is not a... like a Samsung. So smooth interface and so good battery management I have not expected from Samsung. But well done. For me Its a flagship with 2 steps above others. Finally!

Does anyone know how to copy an extracted image and paste it into another opinion but I can't do it, I can only do the first part, extract am image, but can't see an option to paste it into another photo

I wasn't going to buy this phone because the trade in deals were terrible.

Then Google Fi had a half off promotion with no trade in required. So I pre-ordered just before the pre order ended. Sold my s22 plus on Swappa for almost the same price as half of the s23 ultra.

Boost mobile was my carrier but there website is down so I have yet to port my phone number.

However, in terms of this phone it is the best Samsung phone I have had. I have had a lot of Samsung phones over the years.

It is not perfect but it nails pretty much everything I want in a phone. Sure, I still prefer Pixel UI. But One UI 5.1 is much better than in the past.

This phone is super fast, battery life is extremely good, cameras seem excellent so far. A few little bugs here or there but overall not bad. Had my wifi disconnected from my router once and that was annoying. Seems like a known issue so hopefully it will be resolved in an update.

I still have over a week before I am out of the return window. Going to continue to evaluate but so far I am glad I got this phone. The 8 gen 2 seems to be a significant upgrade over the 8 gen 1.

Absolutely hands down the best device I have ever owned. Zero complaints (well maybe the fingerprint sensor could be better). So good it's boring!

So far I have mixed feelings about the S23 Ultra. The screen on the S22 Ultra was the best I've ever used so this weird color shifting screen on the S23 Ultra is disappointing. Sure it is a little faster than the Snapdragon S22 Ultra but it doesn't feel earth shattering. The camera is mostly good, but some low light and zoomed photos look worse than the S22 Ultra.

The battery life was amazing at first but has been a mixed bag the past few days. It was ending the day with 50+% where the S22 Ultra was about 30% but the gap is now narrowing for some reason. The speakers and vibrate function are way better than the S22 Ultra. The reception is phenomenal and data speeds are easily 10% faster than the S22 Ultra.

It's really hard to decide whether this was worth the upgrade or not. It's definitely two steps forward and one step back. If I'd never had a Samsung, this phone would probably be incredibly impressive, but they set the bar high last year. Perhaps I should try a replacement.

Not consistently. Standby time is still great but with regular usage, the battery tanks quickly.

So it's definitely not marketing hype. Can share my YT video of it if anyone is interested, just don't wanna spam.

Saw the spec and I really dig the haptic and SD card on the Note 10+. Also, in 2023, the snapdragon 855 is still a beast. Also, side by side picture is not night and day difference. There's a difference, but for the average is not crazy.

Coming from a Snapdragon 835 8gb ram (oneplus), and Im Very very surprised how in 6 years the tech didn't evolve much.
I miss physical button, ceramic quick finger print, good haptic feed back, sd.
App load almost as fast, game as well.
I'm happy with the S23u, but this is not a 1900$ upgrade good for sure.
Good lightning picture there's not much difference and I do photoshop. But night and zoomed picture, wow, s23 is a beast.

You must not actually use your phone for anything. Even from the 855 in my G8 to the 888 in my OnePlus 9 is a marked performance difference, especially when browsing the web, and the 888 throttled quickly so it wasn't even living up to its full potential. The 8 Gen 2 dusts anything I've ever touched and anyone that can't perceive that difference should just go buy an A series device because flagships are wasted on them.

After more than 10 years of using Android and in between other platforms like iOS and extinct Windows phone, also having used different devices from different brands since I don't have brand loyalty. My last three devices have had the lastest chips and have done pretty well. I still own the past five devices I have used and I can tell you that even with custom roms and using root to modify the thermal levels to achieve better performance and fluid ui there was always something there that wasn't . With this phone I don't have that it is really very well optimize in imo and it does feel very fluid . I like the customization options and I can finally say that it's the first Samsung phone I have used that doesn't struggle with using all those extra features. It's a great phone imo the best I have owned it in years. ( Iast three where pixel 7 pro, Xiaomi mi 11, OnePlus 7t ).

100% agreed. I'm amazed at how good this phone is. I've had a *lot* of devices as can be seen in my signature and this is the first that I've ever been totally happy with.
