Because of scratches? It's better to have one, even if it's a plastic one because you'll not see anymore the minor scratches.

The U1 (Unlocked) model works just as good as the T-Mobile version. You just get a lot less carrier bloatware.I'm excited, I have the S22U and preordered the new 23U, I'm a bit weary since it's unlocked, Wondering if it will work the same as if I had gotten the T-Mobile software based version. But 512GB for the price of the 256 I couldn't pass. I was a bit sore of the trade in value only being at $500 for my device. Guess it's a skip year for wicked deals like they've normally done???? This is the first year I'm getting a screen protector since it was free from purchasing the device. I'm excited to get it though.
Oh great, Thank you. I was told by the reps that I'd not have wifi calling, visual vm or have lots of errors with it. Appreciate your reply! The U1 (Unlocked) model works just as good as the T-Mobile version. You just get a lot less carrier bloatware.
WiFi Calling will work perfectly fine. T-Mobile uses the stock implementation that Google created for Android, which is also present in the U1.Oh great, Thank you. I was told by the reps that I'd not have wifi calling, visual vm or have lots of errors with it. Appreciate your reply!
Is having this PWM a good/bad thing? If someone already has S23/S23U in their hands, check it for PWM.
This is easy to do:
1. Brightness set to 50%
2. Take a ballpoint pen and wave it in front of the smartphone screen. If it "doubles" - PWM is here.
Thank you.

Samsung Galaxy S22 review - One of the best compact Android smartphones
The 6.1-inch Samsung Galaxy S22 houses an octa-core Samsung Exynos 2200 SoC and an integrated Samsung Xclipse 920 GPU. The IP68 certified smartphone also comes with 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, a triple camera with 50 MP and 3x optical zoom, and an AMOLED display with up to...www.notebookcheck.net
Having PWM is bad thing.
Play with it some more and change the default setting and try the options and compare. I believe you can take pictures with 200 mp, 50mp and 12mp. There is an option to choose which one you want to use for the main camera. So i played with the s23 ultra for one hour today and I was surpised (in a bad way):
I don't know if it's a problem of software but the camera gave me some bad results... I didnt believe it (i was wrong).
The pictures was so bad: really noisy et in the same time with movement blur everywhere. And the gallery app was sooooo long. Oo
I receive mine monday and if it's the same with this one, I can't keep it... it's a hard disappointment for now.
Fl1nt91 i was so wrong
I tried all these mode with all aperture (even pro mode).Play with it some more and change the default setting and try the options and compare. I believe you can take pictures with 200 mp, 50mp and 12mp. There is an option to choose which one you want to use for the main camera.
How
Sad to hear, I have enormous expectations on this device. So i played with the s23 ultra for one hour today and I was surpised (in a bad way):

Mine will arrive on Monday and I'll see...
How are you getting it so early? I preordered and it says delivery 2/17Well, I'm getting mine on Monday and I can't wait lol.
Currently coming from a s10
So far I'm impressed from the camera. I went for a night shot, having a great expectations of the 16x pixel binning. I used Samsung Expert Raw only, shooting in ISO 100 mostly, on a tripod, with a remote control, at 12 MP to make use of the pixel binning. I processed the dng files in Lightroom. My overall impression is that the pictures are oversharpened somehow, even if I set the sharpening to 0 in Lightroom. That is for the main camera, which is supposedly the best. The dynamic range however seems excellent. Not so on the 10x zoom camera, where I had to combine two exposures, because on the main exposure highlights were blown. To have such zoom power in your pocket however is nice.I tried all these mode with all aperture (even pro mode).
The worse was 200 mpx...
The 50 mpx was ok but with noise and mvmt blur on element.
The 12mpx was ok but nothing more than my s21+
It was really bad, i hope it was just a software problem. I receive mine monday I can try some more.
