What game controllers are tested working?

Seeing all the fun everyone is havng, I decided to take the plunge and pick up a used CC and Wii Remote. I'm blown away by everything my glorious NC can do, but I'm having an issue getting it to work in Tiger Arcade. I got version 1.4.2 and can't find anywhere to get it to work off the pad. Any suggestions or would anyone like to point out the glaring spot that I missed? :D

ETA: Nevermind. Helps to map the buttons properly. Now it's working beautifully!

PS3 support is much more hacky then wii support is, and ps3 support will work on less devices down the line then wii support. Im still quite happy with the wii situation, its standard bluetooth without any hacks needed, its much more portable to other devices even years from now.

I've tried an original Xbox Controller S using a usb adapter and it didn't "just work", but I have to admit I didn't spend much time on it. I'll have to give it another go and try to report back if I have any more luck.

On another note, I also tried a wired Xbox 360 controller and that didn't work either. I'm curious if it requires too much power or something, maybe a hub would help.

Ok, I tried the Xbox Controller S again and I couldnt' get the nook to detect it. I'm not really sure why. I wasn't able to test using a usb hub because I couldn't find a cable for it (d'oh!). Any suggestions?

I'm using PS3 controller and it works great. Only wish that Zelda in N64oid wasnt laggy T_T, but mario runs perfectly
Are you using the PS3 controller plugged into the USB, or is it wireless? I skimmed through the article linked from here and it looks like that method uses bluetooth.

It's wireless thru bluetooth. Just follow this instructions: http://www.dancingpixelstudios.com/sixaxiscontroller/instructions.html

You will probably won't be able to get the app from the market, since for me it didn't show...long story short I downloaded it from ****** - MOD EDIT - NO WAREZ TALK

Ok, thanks for the clarification jgaf.

For the record, I tried again over the weekend with a powered USB hub and I still could not get the Xbox controllers to be recognized. I don't doubt that someone more knowledgeable than me could get them to work, but for now I'll just go back to using a wiimote. I've had usb keyboards and mice working with no problems, but for some reason the gamepads are trickier.

I'm really not knowledgeable with this, so I'm wondering... have there been any updates getting the Xbox Controller to work? I have a wired one.

Thanks!
I haven't personally tried it again, but there was a mysterious CM7 nightly with a change for more usb device support since then. I'm honestly not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if it's just not going to work. Hopefully someone else can chime in.

Touch Screen Buttons...

Does anyone know if "Psyclone - Thumbies Button Gaming Controls " work on the nook color?

youtubedotcom/C5O89yKXQEM

They are sold at amazon and Best Buy.

Seems like a cheap alternative to the other options.
