I believe this something only pictures will be able to explain. But last night I flashed to Calkulin's E4GT v2.5 and flashed the EL13 modem. Then I played with SetCPU and set it a 200min-800max just to see how it would run. It was a bit jumpy but doable. It was fully charged or close to it. When I woke up this morning it didnt turn on. I plugged it in... nothing. Took out the battery, waited 2mins, plugged it in, ON. Check my battery info, and this is what I had........

Note: I no longer have SetCPU installed.

From my non-expert experience phones shut themselves down for three reasons.

(1) Low battery (shouldn't have been a factor here).

(2) Overheating (usually caused by overclocking; not what happened here)

(3) Underclocking (our phones are like snowflakes, no two are exactly the same, so yours may not have handled the low voltage settings even though other phones can).

Just my two cents.

I can understand it shutting off. But the battery.. it was almost charged fully, and BAM, its all gone? Look at the pics, it goes straight down to Zero. Thats what I dont get.

I had the same thing happen last night on stock rooted el13 with the desperado kernel. It was just a false reading for me though. I ended up being at "1 percent" battery for about five hours.

i've had this happen multiple of times. always after a reboot, the battery would adjust down, ex. 50% to 20%. another reboot doesn't fix the reading though so i'm not sure whether the original was the correct battery reading or this one.
