CPU : AMD A8-4500M APU
GPU : Integrated AMD Radeon HD 7640G
Display : 17.3 inch HD

Good Linux hardware support.Everything except the volume LED and some touchpad features are not working.

Triple boots Windows 10 , elementary OS and Remix OS

My old HP EliteBook 8730w.
I use the 32bit installation via usb stick
It's not a 3.0 usb stick but seems to work fine. It starts very slow though (sometimes fails but that might be because of my laptop which acts weird sometimes)
I just looked up apparently my laptop is 64bit compatible. Might try that out one of these days/weeks.
Remix OS is fast on my USB 2 stick in a USB 3 port.I anyways install Remix OS to my HDD since my USb drive is too slow for resident mode

Remix Os 2.0 on Asus Eee PC

I dual booted the 32-bit remix OS alongside a clean Windows 7 Starter on my

ASUS Eee PC1005 PE
Intel Atom CPU N450, 1.67 GHz, 2GB RAM

My first try failed, I never got past the blinking Remix OS Logo.

After I reinstalled Windows and followed the "How to actually install Remix OS" tutorial on reddit, I made it work. And everything works fine!

Sony

Sony Vaio Flip
i3 4005U
Samsung EVO SSD 500GB

wifi + bluetooth worked well, but cpu node0 not recognized during boot. CPU usage (with 4 cores activated) ~ 45-60% all the times without any app running --> hot CPU --> fan noise

Compaq Presario CQ61-300SV 15.6"
CPU: Intel Core2 Duo T9500 2.6 GHz 6MB cache (sawpped from: Pentium Dual Core T4300 2.1 GHz 1MB cache)
RAM: 2x2 GB DDR2
GPU: Intel 82GL40 Graphics
Storage: Western Digital 160 GB HDD
Took me a day just to install it on a different partition (I have dual boot with win7 Home Premium) and another to run Google play store. Also getting "failed to find cpu0 device node" which from what I found it means that i'm running on a single core yet Antutu X benchmark recognize that the cpu is dual core.

ASUS T100TAM (64GB + Harddrive in Dock)
Made it triple boot Windows 10 / Remix OS / Android 6.0
Few issues with Remix: no bluetooth, no screen rotation and no camera support. Video (Netflix / HBO) is a bit dodgy (occasional green screen flicker), apart from that: it works great. Android x86 has a lot more problems...

Also bought a Pine64 / 2GB board which has an SD-card running Remix (not too much time to fiddle with that one) and a Remix Mini for the living room is on it's way as well :)

Lenovo Z50-70 laptop
CPU: Intel i5-4210U (Dual core, 4 APUs, 3MB cache,1.7 GHz-Boost upto 2.7 GHz)
GPU: Intel HD4400
RAM: 1800 or 1600 MHz (don't remember exactly) LPDDR3 8 GB
1 TB 5400 RPM HDD (60-90 MB/s writing speed)
Antutu benchmark : 132000 :cowboy: :p

Battery life is poor considering I have 2-cell battery heavy use gives me 1 hour on Remix OS and 1.5 hours on Ubuntu and 1.5-2 hours on Windows.

Also, this benchmark is achieved under "powersave" CPU governor on Remix OS and Integrated GPU.

I will try to configure Remix OS for "high performance" CPU mode and discrete NVidia 840M discrete graphics card and see what score I can achieve on Antutu benchmark.. :D:D

It recognises 2 cores mainly because you have 2 ALUs associated with 1 core processor. My machine has 2 cores but Ubuntu recognises 4 ALUs associated with 2 cores. (ALUs are part of CPU with deals with arithmetic operations such as + , - , % etc.)

Hello!

Nocona Nakashima Reporting in

Thought I should chime and join in. I'd like to try and see if i cannot get Remix OS running on a few of my spare laptops lying around. Considering using my these spare Inspiron 1018 Mini's. Anyone have inital thoughts, hurdles, challenges, and anything I should know about configuring Remix OS?

Hardware is pretty bad but I don't have money to dump, my device list below is shrinking from broken phones
