What is thermal profile?

Can anyone explain what is (Default,benchmark,browser,camera etc,,, meaning in thermal profile)?
Can you please explain each one?

In my understanding this is something which can take care of battery usage / temperature so it should be following> Cool , medium , extreme etc. But i dont understand what Default,benchmark,browser,camera etc,, stand for

i don’t not have any xiomi’s, but thermal profiles usually refer to how intense should your phone work. If you are browsing, that takes up way less resources than gaming.
