One last question: do you use Google pay? I remember that being the most difficult app to get to work again and after installing lsposed.

Everything works.
Now, there might be some weird bank-apps that have issues that haven't been reported yet.

However, Google Pay is working perfectly, and all my norwegian banking apps works perfectly with no issues,
and I've had issues on previous Android versions (and jailbroken iOS for that matter).

I usually go stock for a few months before I root. Is there a Google pay workaround for pixel 7 root?

Saturday, October 15, 2022: New Universal SafetyNet Fix released by @Displax, which is a later minor revision of the test MOD version previously posted in this thread, and of the original MOD 2.0 which apparently had some typos - the latter which didn't work due to the typos but is now fixed if you download the latest one. You can get it either from XDA or on GitHub.

This is just working for me. Without hide props stuff.
Use the above Universal SafetyNet Fix and magisk hide.

I've already tried:
1 universal safetynet fix - didn't do the trick unfortunately - play store still recognizes phone as not certified. I guess we'll have to wait for an update.
2 magisk hide props - pixel 7 not supported yet.

Are you using the modified Universal Safetynet Fix, Displax based on the OG from kdrag0n

Thanks. Its broken on the beta a13, now i cant unlock after reboot. LOL Is there a way to disable the mod in fastboot? Or adb while phone is on, and locked? NVM, I removed modules in adb.

I suggest giving bootloop protector a flash.
Works very good for saving you from a bootloop if one occurs.

Ironically bootloop protecting modules (Magisk Bootloop Protector & SystemUI Bootloop Saver) make both 7 and 7 Pro bootloop shortly after reboot so had to go.
Same thing happened to me. 😆 I use Pixelflasher to update. It has an inbuild bootloopprotector that can switch off modules. alternatively you can use adb shell as root to disable magisk modules.

My modules are:
  1. Advanced Charging Controller - for better battery life
  2. Systemless Pixel Launcher Mod Lite
  3. Universal Safetynet fix MOD 2.0
  4. AOSP Mods - for extended customizations
  5. Zygisk LSPosed
  6. Systemless Hosts
  7. YouTube Adaway - Xposed module for ad free YouTube whilst being able to update YouTube app effortlessly.

Curious what my fellow rooted folk are using. Here is my list:
  1. Pixel Launcher Mods Overlay
    • More launcher options.
  2. Pixelify
    • Google Photos backup.
    • Note: Pixel 7 exclusive options (unblur, magic erase) seem to have disappeared for me after installing this.
  3. Systemless Hosts
    • For AdAway ad blocking
  4. Unversal SafetyNet Fix
    • To make banking apps work

Thanks for this thread, it's my favorite on the p7 board so far :)

Hey i would really appreciate some help setting up pixelify, i tried it multiple times but I'm not able to make the unlimited storage work. If you can share the link and all the setup details you use. I tried using it but the photos app crashes and the phone reboots and the module gets disabled

I have the same problem, the phone reboots and module is disaed. I was running on my xiaomi mi 8 on pixel experience and having unlimited storage original quality and I am missing it so much on the new pixel 7.

I just flashed the zip file from github and it worked. Try enabling Zygist in Magisk settings and install Lsposed with the Pixelify G Photos app (also on Github)

What is more recommendable in terms of resource friendliness:
1) Internet Tiles, or
2) Better Internet Tiles?
