Hi! Can you direct me to a link to download the Pixel Launcher Mods you use? I come from an old Oneplus 5 so I am not used to this kind of modules: I tried AOSP Mods and Pixel Launcher Mods Overlay from Quinny899, but neither of those actually worked in helping me extending the customization of the stock Pixel Launcher.Curious what my fellow rooted folk are using. Here is my list:
Ironically bootloop protecting modules (Magisk Bootloop Protector & SystemUI Bootloop Saver) make both 7 and 7 Pro bootloop shortly after reboot so had to go.
- Pixel Launcher Mods Overlay
- More launcher options.
- Pixelify
- Google Photos backup.
- Note: Pixel 7 exclusive options (unblur, magic erase) seem to have disappeared for me after installing this.
- Systemless Hosts
- For AdAway ad blocking
- Unversal SafetyNet Fix
- To make banking apps work
I figured out how to get into the Magisk app and enable the module, which wiped my home screen totally. I disabled and then removed the module, but everything still seems to be wiped. Any way to get my phone back to what I had?Help please. I installed Pixelify module v2.1. Now when I boot phone, it is stuck on "Pixel is starting"
Modules:
• Google Sans font module
• Substratum lite overlay helper - to hide the gesture bar and still keep the keyboard raise
• AOSPMods, but it was causing issues, so had to remove it
• Pixel Launcher Mods overlay
• And of course, displax safetynetfix
Apps with root access:
• Airfrozen - to freeze Magisk; some banking apps would otherwise detect Magisk
• AFWall+ - to disable wifi/mobile data for some apps
• Better Internet Tiles - to seprate wifi and mobile data tiles in QS panel
• Pixel Launcher Mods
Exactly what you want! Hide the pill, but still keep the keyboard raised with the little arrow at the bottom left. Search for dnmgsk on Telegram. It's a gc where you'll find the apk. Then just install the overlays using substratum lite. What do you mean by keep the keyboard raise? When I try hiding the nav bar I also lose the little arrow at the bottom left to minimize the keyboard and it's driving me nuts
Or if you're using AOSPmods already and don't want another module, just set the nav bar height and width all the way to the left. Don't flip the toggle to hide the nav bar.Exactly what you want! AOSPmods has a whole page of tweaks for the battery icon.Hey, I want to change the P7 battery icon, I don't like it specially when save battery is on. Is there any module that let me change it?
Does it also fix the small white line, when in apps like WhatsApp? (Visible only in light mode, not dark mode)Exactly what you want! Sorry I never checked in in light mode. Also, my Pixel 7 is hard bricked and is on its way to the service center, so can’t check it for you now. I think it will work.Does it also fix the small white line, when in apps like WhatsApp? (Visible only in light mode, not dark mode)
Where would this small white line be exactly? I'm not seeing it in Whatsapp in light mode when I use AOSPmods as described above.Does it also fix the small white line, when in apps like WhatsApp? (Visible only in light mode, not dark mode)
Thank you very much, now I'm enjoying the AOSPmods tweaks!
Should show when clicking on a chat.Where would this small white line be exactly? I'm not seeing it in Whatsapp in light mode when I use AOSPmods as described above.
I don't see one but I'm not sure I have the same combination of system and Whatsapp themes you have.Should show when clicking on a chat.
It's under the textbox - the long white line that goes across the screen at the very bottom (It's only 1 pixel wide)

For now I am using Action launcher, but I am missing so much the color adaptive icons >.< (If any of you knows a way to use color-adaptive icons in other launchers, let me know!)
Thanks in advance =]
Like I mentioned in the post, you can find it using Fox's Magisk Module Manager.
Thanks. I too like the flexibility of AdGuard.

Thanks. I too like the flexibility of AdGuard.I'd say it's pretty much the same. I switched back to Adguard so I can disable it with ease when needed and exclude some apps to still show ads.
