I don't too much about phones but I think Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 pro, because its easy to install custom roms and can do what every you want with it, that's all hope you have good day

I'm hoping (really hoping) this would be the ideal place. (It is the ideal place). I have a budget of about 250GBP (and that's stretching it) (about $300 USD).

I'm hunting for a phone with:

- >32GB internal memory (the more the better)
- >3GB RAM (Ditto)
- >3300 mAh (Battery)
- Dual Sim (work and personal)
- Easy to root
- USB-C port (pretty much a standard nowadays)

Preferences (not essential)
- SD Card support (likely microSD)
- Removable battery
- 3.5mm jack or two usb-c ports
- Accelerometer/Compass etc

Basically I'm upgrading from a Sony Xperia L3 and have zero clue what I'm doing. Normally I just buy a feature phone and be done with it, but I need certain apps nowadays.

I don't need
- 5G (can't get)
- More than one camera
- Fingerprint/Facial recognition
- A brand name, if a cheap chinese knock off does the same job that's perfect.
- Does not have to be the latest phone

If someone could throw some suggestions my way that would be fantastic.

I ended up going for a Doogee. Wish me luck XD

Hi everyone. I've got my eye on the Galaxy S20 FE. Whatever phone I end up getting will mainly be used for mobile games. Some other uses will be the youtube ReVanced app (along with alt tech video apps like Odysse), web browsing (using Brave and Opera GX 95 percent of the time), and listening to music. I might put Tubi and a couple of other streaming apps on it, along with the amazon Kindle app, and maybe the occasional novelty app I put on there just for kicks (like Stellarium, Hey Japan, a notepad, etc.), but the majority of the time I'll be playing games on it.

The main reasons why I'm liking the idea of getting an S20 FE are the oled screen, SD card slot, and headphone jack. That, and the fact that I can get one for a relatively low price. Money is kind of tight at the moment, and I often see them on ebay for around 200 dollars, sometimes less.

So, I'm wondering: are there better options for a phone with 256 GB (or more) of storage; a micro SD card slot for extra additional storage; and a headphone jack, for anywhere from 200 (or less) to ~230 dollars? I have looked at the Note 10+, which seems to fit what I'm looking for, but I can't seem to find one that's both in good in condition and within my price range.

Looking for a 6.2 inch or smaller

Hello,

I'm in a bit of dilemma. I would like to get a new phone. Currently I'm using a Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G (The original). I've been very happy with it. Only downsides are the size (6.5") and the software (Pixel Experience helped a lot though!)

Anyway, I really want to get a smaller phone. I'm thinking anywhere between 5.8" - 6.2". However I find it rather hard to find good options for this.

I have been looking at the Pixel 7a, however I understand that the becels are quite thick, so it's basically the same size as the Pixel 7. And I hate the square corners.

Also been looking at the Galaxy S22, since I am able to get it for the same price of the Pixel 7a, however the battery life should be terrible. Also I live in Nothern Europe, so it would be the Exynos model. But the design is magnificent! Really what I was looking for in terms of the feel in hand.

I don't need the best and newest hardware, I would just like a smaller phone and a decent battery that can make it through a normal day (4-5 hours of SOT).

Asus Zenphone almost as expensive as Samsung S23 in my country. So would choose the S23 any day. Considering waiting another half a year and hoping the S23 has dropped in price.

Any suggestions? Do note that I live in Europe.

Hello all,

I am currently running a OnePlus 9 dual SIM. It used to be an LE2120 (chinese model) but I converted it to the global one. I'm pretty happy with it, but there are a few quirks about it I am not really impressed with. Don't know if it's related to the conversion, or just one plus.

1) The Bluetooth is really unreliable. Sometimes I can't connect to certain devices at all. I own a tesla, and sometimes it takes FOREVER to connect to the car. I have bluetooth locks on my doors and it maybe works 1 out of 10 times. My wife's iPhone has no issues.

2) I don't get posted 4G speeds. I suppose that this is because of the dual SIM, but I'm not sure.

3) The dual SIM portion sometimes doesn't accept my MMS messages or send them. Again probably something to do with the settings.

My question is...time to upgrade to a different one plus? I see one plus has good deals on right now for trade ins.

OnePlus 10 or 11? I don't like how the 11 doesn't have wireless charging...it is almost like one plus is dropping the ball in terms of features the more I look at the newer models. Or go to something totally different...

Hello everybody.
What's a good phone to get under 400€? The things I value the most is a very good camera, enough horsepower to stay updated for a few years (I don't play mobile games, only a few old emulators from time to time), and the possibility to change the OS (LineageOS/AOSP/whatever) when official updates ends.
I don't really care about 5g support, cause I live in a country where its not comming soon.

Thinking about switching from a Pixel to a Galaxy

I currently have a pixel 6 pro and I was thinking about swapping to a s23+ or s23 ultra. I think I may go with the s23+, but I haven't decided yet, my main concern is the differences in usage of the phone. I don't have many experiences outside of the pixel when it comes to Android, so I wanted to know if there's any major features that change between the two that could make or break a deal in your opinion.

P.S. I also am slightly on the fence between the plus and ultra, while I like the idea of the stylus, slightly better camera, battery life, etc... I don't know if the price jump would be worth it and I was thinking about the potential of a smaller phone.

Any and all help and opinions are greatly appreciated

I want to buy a sleek, long battery back up Android phone of latest model of 2023 or 2022 with longer Android support. I would use this only to check emails and make calls. Should be compatible with Microsoft intune company portal.which phone do you suggest?

This depends on your budget... You can get the Pixel 6a for 350 or get the 7a for 500.

I've used Intune before to manage Android phones (through 365 developer and as a student IT person) and anything Android Enterprise certified (do a search there for any phone; pretty much all recent Pixels, Galaxies, Motorolas, and OnePlus phones should be certified) will work just fine with an Intune MDM.

7a. I hate MIUI with a passion, and the 7A is pretty easy to root with Magisk (or kernelsu if you want, it's just like a more modern Magisk)

    Hi everyone!

I am looking for a relatively up-to-date phone, that has:
    - enough power to surf smoothly
    - lineageOS support
    - dimensions as small as possible (I love the Samsung S4 mini's size)
    - working VoLTE with custom ROMs/lineageOS
    - an optical zoom lens would be nice to have
    - 5G would be nice to have

    Thank you for any recommendations!

Excellent, I hope this will attract some discussion on new devices so new threads won't be opened.

I am not looking for a new phone right now, well maybe not depending on the outcome of HTC repairing my Sensation I guess. I sure hope to find out tomorrow. I think if I was going to get a replacement now I would probably get the SGS3 over the OneX. I really don't like the non-removable battery and maybe worse, no SD slot. I know why they did it for economic reasons but I am just not going to go that direction. Batteries do not last forever and their maximum charge level goes down over time. I want to be able to plug the SD into my computer and do a local backup. I also want to be able to get a bigger or faster SD if one comes out.
I am used to Sense but I am sure I could get used to Touchwiz as well, and I just read in the portal that ROM Cleaner works with the SGS3 now, as long as I can rid of the bloat I am content. I am sure that when my contract is done in a year there will be something newer and better out anyways. ;)

I hope it does aswell. These forums definitely have too many of those threads being created

I think I'd choose the S3 aswell to be honest. Even though the One X is a powerful phone, the S3 can quite easily out perform it, as it can with most phones.

The only time I'd be looking to upgrade is when mine become redundant, which with having an S2 (which can still keep up with the newest flagship devices) and Xperia S, I won't need to upgrade for a while I don't think.

I would take the Lumina. My girlfriend has one and its pretty good.

    √ Android JB 4.1.2
    √ Disarmed Toaster
    √ 4EXT Recovery Touch
    √ Anthrax Kernel 3.7.0 @ 1.6ghz

Never owned a tablet before.. flirting with the idea of a galaxy tab 2 10.1. As of current, I'm all good with my s3 but I'm kinda interested in what this next galaxy note 2 will bring. Guess I'm some sort of galaxy fan.. ever since my vibrant :p
