What Spare Parts to get?

Hi.

Since Samsung still hasn't decided to make a good follow up to this device, I plan on sticking with it for the next few years since it has everything I want (big screen and good screen, LTE, Wacom, SMS, Phonecalls).

I was wondering, what spare parts should I buy? I'll probably buy another pen but I don't plan on breaking the screen.

Should I buy a spare button/flex cable for the home button? Are there other parts I should buy?

Well, I thought of that too. I ordered extra cases and screen protectors, some extra s-pens, an external 16000ma portable battery (size of a large cigratte pack) , 2 extra AC adapters (one for offoce on for the car), maxed out the internal sd to 128gb (sandisk). Down the road I plan on getting a spare internal battery (that requires disassembly)

On the software side, baked up all apk files. tagged the ones that work perfectly just in case the respective publisher decides to put out an upgrade that trashes what worked (happens all the time). Also, in case the publisher goes for the annual membership cash flow model (with hands in your wallet forever...not). Also, all updates are disabled. I choose what goes and what doesn't. I am still on 4.4.2 - BECAUSE IT WORKS. I have no issues. External keyboards all work. I get 10-12 hours of pure use - and I mean lots ans lots (screen is in lower 1/4 setting on brightness, location off, air off, nfc off).
Also, there are some apps I use that died during the 5.0 transition - so who needs an update that does nothing but damage.

I run the P900 by the way. 64gb internal/128 external

I carry it EVERY DAY - for business and personal use. I carry several thousand pdfs (manuals and resources) documents, financial data, etc. I have had it since June, 2014. I came from a Nook32+. It was like waking up from a long dark nightmare. To my mind it is not a laptop or desktop replacement, but an enhancement to my workflow. My Lenovo w520 still plugs away running windows legacy applications. My Note 3 handles the in-between. But the Note pro12.2 is top of the heap - always there - always on. Oh, I also use a Boost Mobile wifi hotspot, with the 10gb/month plan in instances where wifi is not awailable or I need a secure connection.

I am happy.

Meh . . for me the only thing I'd consider buying as a spare item would be a battery, but I figure I stand a chance of having that battery go bad in storage before the internal one gives up the ghost so why bother.

I'd lament the loss of my Note Pro if it died today but I don't know if I'd necessarily plan for it just yet. All depends on your use case I guess.

I'd buy an extra flex cable for the USB connection. They can go bad if bent, bumped, or just over time and they are pretty easy to replace. One thing to consider is just buying an extra tablet. That's the route I went. Picked up a refurbished P900 for $280 bucks on ebay. If mine breaks I will transfer everything using s-synch and the have the broken one as a backup for spare parts.
