What's a general way to install recovery on a Z3?

I just upgraded to 5.1.1 and lost recovery, but I have an unlocked bootloader. I've looked for hours but can't find a guide for that version of the firmware. I'd like to install TWRP, but I'm not sure if it's kernel-dependent.

Does anyone know which version of TWRP I can install on my phone? Do I need a different version for each kernel, or can I keep using the same one? Where can I find it?

For unlocked bootloader quote:
Use the Kernel Builder to repack the kernel you are using now to replace the built in recovery with XZDualRecovery. Installing the locked bootloader variant will either not work at all or require unexpected operating instructions.

I suggest reading a lot. I have yet to unlock mine. I'm shootin for Tesla's rom myself but am waiting (forever) on a new power supply and a brand new 12.5" tablet as well.

Thank you. I tried installing the previous recovery I had and went into a bootloop, so it's definitely kernel-dependent, as you say.

Hmm, do you know how I can install that? I don't already have a recovery, and that's the only way I can figure out that this can be installed...
