I'm having problems with Note 2 N7100. I was using Agni kernel and overclocked but later I change it to Revolution HD 31.0 rom with stock kernel and nothing overclocked. Note 2 seems to lose the partition and cause the phone to be stuck at the Samsung. What's odd is the 2nd time I recover it I flash it with 4.4.2 stock rom to avoid SDS damage before I was using early stock 4.0.x to recover it which erase everything. All the stuff from Revolution HD rom still there nothing is erase.

Before the recovering the phone. I had internal memory 0MB and no partition is detected. I tried to flash new rom from external sdcard it can't detect it. I had to use Odin and have the phone set in download mode.

Before the phone loses the partitions. I notice when the phone heats up it will lose the 3g/4g connection and later phone reboots few times. This happen the third time I stop doing something and wait for the phone to cool down before it reboots again and this non-overclocked with HD31.0 rom

Which firmware did you flash with Odin? did Odin say success? What was your last bootloader version?

I use the N7100XXALJ1_N7100OXXALJ1_N7100XXALIH_HOME.tar.md5. for odin I google it to find the stock 4.4.2 then I flash HD 31 rom through TWRP 2.8.7.0. Looks like it uses the latest bootloader. ND3.

Even though kernel is stock and no overclock it did it again but no file system damage. I did play games like FIFA 15 to push the phone again reproduce problem but it didn't. So I don't think it's heat. It's really random.

Latest bootloader is OE1, but that's another thing.

Custom roms don't contain bootloader, that's the second thing.

I asked which is your current bootloader as you are obviously trying to flash old firmware (4.3 or even older) through Odin.

Go for real 4.4.2 firmware find on sammobile.com and flash through Odin and you'll be fine.
