Hi. I have recently upgraded from Samsung Galaxy S6 to an HTC U11 6 gb RAM/128 gb internal storage. What I miss from my old S6 is the functionality of its My Files file manager app. I tried using the HTC File Manager from the Play Store but sadly its somewhat limited. I cannot zoom further pictures, files cannot be arranged in grid, etc... Can you recommend a better file manager?

Amaze File Manager might do what you're looking for - Grid View and Zooming on Pictures work.
I use it occasionally.
My go-to is X-plore File Manager (I donated for the pro version).
It has a double-pane view that makes it great for wi-fi file transfers, if that interests you at all, or just transfers between folders.
I can't find an option for Grid View, which I agree would be nice in some situations.
You can zoom-in on pictures.
The design may not be everyone's cup of tea (note: the dark theme looks way better than the default).
It works for me, but totally might not be what you're looking for.
Tried quite a few, can't even name them all right now, before I settled on those myself.
