Squaretrade seems to be the most reasonably safe option at the moment. The damage protection alone is really what's the most logical coverage for most users. Especially for accident-prone users.

I'm using the T-Mobile jump warranty plan. It lets me swap the phone out entirely as long as I've paid half the value so I can always have a new model. I think it's a 150 deductible for damage. Covers loss or theft too.

Best mobile phone insurance company

I purchased the Note 8 for TMO from Samsung direct. I've never purchased insurance before because the deductibles were so high, but I've never owned a phone this expensive before either. I can get TMO, Samsung or Geek Squad coverage and I am wondering about the pro's and cons of the offerings.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If your from US then i will suggest you Everything Breaks mobile insurance plans. Everything Breaks Samsung galaxy warranty and protection plan covers malfunctions and other repairs necessary to return your smartphone to its intended functionality.
Never heard of EverythingBreaks but upon comparing the 2 year price and deductible against SquareTrade I would also concur it is a better deal. Both the 2 year price and deductible is cheaper BUT my only concern is I have never heard of this company nor can I find any reviews online for them. With that said, I would rather stick with SquareTrade because they are tried and true and when/if my device breaks I don't want any issues with getting a replacement and be a guinea pig for this new company.
