What's the best ROM for this phone currently?

After multiple painstaking months of using the "latest" miui for this phone,I'm really getting tired of the bad battery life and horrible lagging when the phone is warm... I'm looking for a new ROM but there's so much choices, I want the ROM to have good battery life and smooth daily usage as it is my daily driver. Other nice to haves are miui camera and accessible bw camera. What ROMs could be the best?

There is no room with miui cameras, except miui, maybe try miui 10. Also if you have never tried gcam, this will be a mind blowing experience when you go with a non miui rom, with root there are ways to access the bw sensor and take pictures with it using third party camera apps, I use pixel experience, and it's decent, also havoc OS Is decent, you will have to try some out to fifties out the ones you like

Well that's a shame, I liked miui camera because it's very simple,I have tried gcam on miui before but I had a bad experience due to lag. I will consider both ROMs for now,but I hope to get recommendation from more people.

Best rom for my phones is 11.0.2 stable china
Because all apps in rom tobe update to latest by get app ...
I have not problem by lag and heat ... Maybe your location is very hot ...

11.0.2.0 china is still on android 8,for me it isn't a big deal but if this phone has no more future updates,i may aswell just go with custom rom and get newer android versions. I love miui,and i will miss the comforts of miui but i think it is a trade off that i can deal with. I live in malaysia and it is hot here,indoors with air conditioning is mostly fine but if outdoors...yeah the phone feels like its gonna explode (not that i am outdoors that recently).
