For the 200GB SanDisk Read 60.76 MB/s, Write 13.05 MB/s
I use a 64GB Adata UHS-I and it scored 77MB/sec read and 16MB/sec writes using a1 sdbench.

Note 4 910W8 running Resurrection ROM MM version.
Well I honestly don't write straight from the camera to the external SD card. I save to internal, then once a month or so I move pictures from internal to the SD card. As far as viewing photos off the SD card in the gallery its pretty quick for 5 years worth of photos archived in that folder. I think about 17,000 images total in the folder.
MicroSDXC SAMSUNG PRO PLUS 95MB/s UHS-3 Class 10
Thanks Nokua...what write speed you get? I've just chatted to Samsung and they say it can handle 90mb read and 75mb write but there is no link they say to this info so it is a bit odd! I'll be looking for at least 40 write minimum but bit more sounds worth it if indeed it can hit that speed.

Ok so here is what I found out...it's basically impossible for me to check the speed of my sd card! I don't know weather it's just a current temporary fault with my note 4 and the software but I've tried literally almost all of the store apps and they give me different readings every time! Samsung said 90 read 75 write to me so I bought a Samsung pro 90 read 80 write and it definitely seems faster than the Samsung evo but how much faster I have no idea! I can get a stable speed check in a usb 3 card reader and Crystal disk Mark and it hits close to the rated speeds bit that's all I can check. :(

Samsung PRO 64GB microSD

I'm with Samsung PRO 64GB microSD Card Class 10 UHS-1: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Class-Adapter-MB-MG64DA-AM/dp/B00IVPU88U
Tested with A1 SD Bench several times, on stock 5.1.1 Android:
- read speed: 59-62 MB/s
- write speed: 26-29 MB/s
The card is formatted with the phone - it is ExFAT format.
Test used - "Longer - default".

Internal phone memory results with the same test:
- read speed: 230 MB/s
- write speed: 135 MB/s

The actual ROM is MOD7 of this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/development/rom-note-4-mod-t3244665
Stock kernel, rooted.

Edit: With test "Accurate - with reboot" the write speed increased to 45 MB/s on the first run of the test! The read speed was the same - 61 MB/s.
On the second run with the same test, the write speed was 29 MB/s and the read speed was again 61 MB/s.
So, for my Samsung PRO 64GB microSD card I accept max Read speed: 61-62 MB/s and max Write speed: 29 MB/s.

testing V30 V60 A1 A2

I tried 3 sd cards.

1. SanDisk 200GB Ultra microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with Adapter - 100MB/s, U1, A1
Seq write 7 MB/s
Seq read 77 MB/s
Rnd write 0.4 MB/s
Rnd read 3.5 MB/s

2. Lexar Professional 1000x 64GB microSDXC UHS-II Card V60 A1
Seq write 47 MB/s
Seq read 65 MB/s
Rnd write 0.1 KB/s
Rnd read 4.5 MB/s

3. SanDisk Extreme 256GB microSD UHS-I Card V30 A2
Seq write 45 MB/s
Seq read 73 MB/s
Rnd write 2.6 MB/s
Rnd read 5.2 MB/s

For me, it seems the SanDisk A2, though it has a lower maximal throughput, will probably be faster because of the higher random write rate. It might be that there are some kernel parameters that will allow faster rates.

Oh, just a small explanation: A2 refers to "application speed" so faster random access. According to https://www.mymemory.co.uk/blog/a1-vs-a2-sandisk-microsd-card-whats-the-difference/ 4x faster write, which is about what I saw.
V30/V60/V90 refers to sequential writing speed 30/60/90 MB/s. It doesn't seem like the Lexar achieves 60MB/s on my Note 4. Maybe that's already hitting the phone limit?

Samsung EVO PLUS. I used before Sandisk Ultra but obviously Samsung EVO PLUS overtake it.

I strongly recommend Samsungf 512 GB EVO PLUS Microsd Card. I've been using it almost for a year and it is definitely excellent.
