Whatsapp for tf300 without root

I can't really download anything on my phone due to low internal memory and i am not rooted. I installed whatsapp plus but don't like it as i would rather stick with tock whatsapp which makes it so that the things i type and send are highlighted in a different colour to the recipients messages

whatsapp 2.7 is to old.......

Hi Simo2103,

thanks for this info. I tried your solution in post 1 and I now have message from whatsapp that this version is to old and that I have to install the new version 1st before I can do the phonenumber authentication on their server. Can you check if the Spanish site has a backup for 2.8? because the version in post 1 is 2.7 and whatsapp find it to old??? :confused:

edit: found out how it works. Just do the thing on post 1, but don't start anything. then go to whatsapp.com en download whatsapp from their server. Install this whatsapp version and it will upgrade the restored whatsapp, and now you can do the number verification. I got a cheap prepaid card with number so I have a unique number now so later I can get a cheap spare phone with whatsapp or a new transformer with 3g/4g :D

i have done what the simo2103 said on post 1 but it still said that my whatsapp old and need to download new version...where i can find the new version and im using asus transformer 300TG it same way right??

In my TF300T the olnly way to make work whatsapp was titanium backup + copy Whatsapp folder.

Root acces in mobile phone and tablet, whatsapp is great with the phisical keyboard of the TH300T, worth the work to do-

k, i looked at the forum and the version there is outdated, so i think we are going to have to make our own somehow
