Whatsapp not working

Hello

I have a Lumia 800 with an unlocked bootloader and I installed the RainbowMod ROM. However I installed Whatsapp and it doesn't seem to work. It stays on the background image just before the phone number wizard.

Does anyone have this problem?

I also tried FunkyROM. Same issue. I already contacted the Whatsapp team. Waiting for a reply.

Same thing here after a Hard Reset, hope someone find an answer, i've already tried to install an older whatsapp version; tried 2.8 and 2.11 it asks for a newer version if you try to update vía Marketplace throws an error

To me it seemed to update perfectly. I only installed the most recent versions tho. I asked the Whatsapp team and they are adding me to the beta builds of Whatsapp. What ROM are you using?

No no
What I mean is that everytime that there's an update available. I get to update it perfectly. But doesn't mean it works.

I am waiting for the Whatsapp team to let me know when I am added to the beta versions.
Meanwhile, have you tried to use any of the official ROMs of the device?

Sure, but I think you need to contact Whatsapp support team to add your Windows Live ID account.

You might have the same problem. I assume it happens on Windows Phone 7.8
Ask the Whatsapp team to give you beta access.

Itś only for unlocked devices.

Just let me know if this is working I can´t test it myself.
