Hey all,

Sometimes whatsapp won't send messages when I'm connected to my 5ghz wifi network. Recieving messages is no problem and also all other apps are working great. Killing whatsapp and re-opening it again fixxes the issue. This doesn't happen when I'm connected to the same router, but then on the 2.4ghz network. I've had this issue on my Nexus 6p, but also on my Nexus 5 running lineage OS 14.1 (nougat).

Are there more people with this problem?

Very strange. Because it occurs across multiple devices and OS', I would test it on another router. I use WA all the time on my 5Ghz band (it's all I use at home). What is the router make/model and what firmware are you running? Netgear R7000 here, firmware V1.0.7.10_1.2.3
