Hey!
I tried to unlock the bootloader of my K4 note (with stock marshmallow rom) yesterday with
fastboot oem unlock
The unlock succeeded when I pressed the Volume Up button to confirm it. Then it showed me a screen to select where to boot(system, recovery, bootloader). I had to scroll the options with the volume down key, and then select it with the volume up key. But none of the volume rocker buttons responded. I couldn't select where to boot. Then, with the fastboot flash recovery command, I flashed the TWRP for stock ROM available in the Download section of this thread. But still the buttons did not respond, and fastboot reboot bootloader gave me this message:
C:\Users\Kartik Shankhavaram>fastboot reboot bootloader
rebooting into bootloader...
FAILED (remote: not support on security)
finished. total time: 0.012s
So I did fastboot reboot, and since then, the device has gone into an endless boot loop. It shows me the boot logo, then vibrates and restarts again.
When I press 'Power+Volume UP', I get the message
Have been in factory mode, Long press the power button and the normal boot
Then, it starts the loop again.
With 'Power+Volume Down', I get
Have been in meta mode, Long press the power button and the normal boot
and the same loop happens.

I read many articles about this and most of them suggest a problem with hardware or water in the phone. But my device was working when I connected it and not a drop of water fell on it, nor did it fall anywhere.

I'm at a loss and don't know what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You need to flash stock ROM again.
And, after unlocking boot loader, you need to reboot to system properly and flash recovery
