I've just spoken with amazon rep on the phone, she said mine will be with me tomorrow and is being prepped for dispatch.

it seems like they have now sold out as if you try and order a new one, it gives 1-3 month estimated lead time for new stock and the price has gone up to £525, mine was £499 + £50 cashback.

Still have until 4 pm to hedge my bets with handtec for guaranteed delivery tomorrow???
If the order status says preparing for dispatch on Amazon then I'd say no need to hedge.

That's illegal, they would have to sell it. Usually they then change it after they realise. But if they still have that price on there they are legally obliged to sell at that price to any customer who approaches while it is still there.
Just for clarity in case anyone wanted to try 'forcing' Phones4U to sell the sim-free handset at the lower advertised price, a quick Google suggests that they do not have to sell it to you for the stated price, at best you can make a Trading Standards complaint but that's all and that doesn't really benefit you directly: http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/advice/problemswithgoods-sum3.cfm

£489.95 sim-free is a fairly competitive price to be able to pick one up on the high street today or over the weekend although there are no extra freebies thrown in.

My Clove order finally got picked up by DHL 15 mins ago. Hopefully it'll get here on Monday.

Not sure why Clove created tracking number yesterday but let it sit at their warehouse overnight

Mine too, it was picked up at 16:01, maybe they missed yesterdays DHL pickup.
I can stop hoping for it to arrive today anyway. :crying:
Will definitely be in my hands monday at least.

I ordered the phone in Amazon UK on 27 Feb and after a chat today with the support team in Amazon I cancel the order because they don't know when they'll have stock. After that I order the phone in handtec and in less than three hours my phone is already on the way :D

So if someone is still waiting for amazon... I recommend you to do the same.

I'm worried - I ordered from Amazon UK Monday, £499+£50 cashback on Monday, said it would dispatch Thursday, it's Friday now and it hasn't dispatched yet, WTF? The delivery estimate and dispatch estimate are still the same, will I still get the phone Monday-Wednesday as said or will it be delayed a week? I'm properly hacked off now.

I disagree....there's many parts of retail law. But when it its clearly advertised at a price they won't have much room to manoeuvre if you kick up a fuss.

Not that I'm bothered anyway :p. still have gotta wait till next week till p4u upgrade comes through:(

In case it helps anyone who got burnt by Amazon not getting their stock, Phones4U are selling the Xperia Z in black and white colours for £489.95 as sim-free and you can get this price in-store as well as online. Their information cards actually show a sim-free price of £459.95 but the sales agents say this is a mistake and will not sell you one for this price.
I ordered on Clove and chose FedEx shipping service. However they ship by international mail service with tracking number RU140863174GB. I don't understand why. Which shipping method did you chose on Clove?

Mine has just arrived with DHL.
It's a white one from clove with a white speaker.
DHL shipping to Ireland was something like £24 before VAT, but I wanted something fast and traceable.
Hey, did you know beforehand you'd get a speaker? Some dudes say they got it listed in their order but I thought Clove wouldn't take such responsibility.
