When I use those roms I have to go to the dialer and put in *#*#4636#*#*, go to phone information and select lte/cdma/gsm auto (prl). I think that's it exactly, then press the turn off radio button right under that. I wait 1 minute then press the same button that now says turn on radio. At the top above the test ping button it says connected to network: sprint. where before it was blank. After this calls, text and lte work as they didn't before. With x-note I don't have this problem. Also on the problem roms it says I have a sm-9005 even after "fixing it". I have the 900P. After reboot I have to do this all over again. Anyone know what's going on and can help? All roms are hlte.

Try going to Settings/Connections/More Networks/Mobile Networks/Network Mode/Preferred Network Mode see if Automatic is checked, if so it should be LTE/CDMA check that and reboot device.

Did that. No go.
Ok, first I need a little info. With some type of root file manager like Root Explorer, go to system/build.prop about half way down it should say, ro.product.model=SM-N900P. What does yours say ?

You did a clean full wipe between roms, right ? That means wiping cache, delvik cache, and a system wipe for a new rom .

It sounds like something got left behind, do you have a backup of your original stock rooted rom ? If so, wipe everything and do a backup restore.

If you don't have a backup of the original rom that came with the phone I would go this way. First, here is a link for a complete stock 4.4.2 NC5 rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2712205 just click on NC5 and follow the instructions on the top of the thread. Then install the recovery look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-sprint/help/help-flashing-roms-t2882008 in post #3 then post #17. Then root the device here is the link http://download.chainfire.eu/396/SuperSU/ this is Chainfires supersu v1.94.

Once you are back to stock rooted nc5, go to recovery make a backup to a ext sd card or use the internal sd card, then copy and paste the backup file somewhere on your PC. Now have base to work from, so if something goes south you can always get back to square one. With all the flashing I do, I end up recovering a backup at least a couple of times a wk or day if I'm trying something out. It's like system restore on a PC.

It said 900P. I stock restored with odin. Fixing to flash Phil and backup 100% stock
Cool after you got back to stock, did your connection problems stop ? If so great !!! Then I would flash Philz CWM and root the device, stop right there and make a backup !!! Now take some time and set up the phone for daily use i.e. debloat it, add the volume mod, add the font mod update your apps etc. then make another backup preferably to ext sd card. Now flash whatever you want if it goes south you can always get back to a daily user.

No but I fixed it. On all AOSP Roms I had hlte, so I downloaded hltespr and it fixed them all. Now I have a stock nandroid, cm11 nightly, pacrom nightly, liquid smooth nightly, and carbon ROM nightly nandroids. Any other ROM suggestions? I have 64 GB internal and 128gb SD card. So space isn't an issue.
