When will samsung start shipping Note 20 Ultra

UGH!!!!! I just got an email about my order. Despite pre-ordering on 08/08/2020...

We are writing in regards to your recent order for the Note 20 device. Unfortunately, due to inventory constraints, this order has been delayed and will now ship by Aug 28th 2020. As a token of our appreciation and for the inconvenience caused, we would like to provide you with a promotional code of $50 which can be redeemed on your next order. The promotional code is <my promo code> and it is valid until Dec 31st 2020.
At least they gave me a $50 credit on their site, but I would gladly give that up in a heartbeat to get my device tomorrow, instead. :crying::crying::crying:

i bought a radar detector with free ground shipping. took fedex the whole week to delivery it.
should have pay 35$ for overnight delivery.
I never had the chance to pay for better shipping when pre-ordering my Note 20 Ultra. It just had the expedited shipping option selected and grayed out with no other choices. I would have paid for overnight if I could have.
Same, fedex just rescheduled my delivery AGAIN. I rather my **** not even ship if they're just going to troll me like this. **** fedex.

sorry for the off-topic question: the box and the back of my ATT 512 GB Ultra lists 2 IMEI numbers; however, a second nano-sim does not fit in the slot where a microsd card would go. is there another size simcard that fits in the second slot? just curious. i apologize if this has been discussed already. thanks.

Ordered the 512GB Note 20 Ultra on 8/18 from my provider(Bell).
They said they would send a follow up email once the device was being prepared for shipping.
Still waiting...
Company website says they are available but in small print on the bottom it says the ultra 512gb one will be delayed 1-2 weeks

My 512 showed up on time surprisingly, that was last friday. If you dont have yours yet Id be screaming at bell thats totally unacceptable.
When did you order your and did you order it directly from Samsung or through a provider bell/telus/rogers?
I've been calling for days now.

32In the USA, they use FedEx. If you create a FedEx account you can monitor inbound shipments.
Usually, you will find these pending well ahead of release. Accessories are usually 1 pound and the phone 2 pounds.
Also when reserving with a credit card there is usually a hold upon preordering. Make sure you see this AND check your order status within 24 hours. If the card rejects the hold for any reason, (Samsung) will CANCEL your order. This happened to me because I used an expired card. (duh) I did not check to find the order CANCELED until a few days later and the shipping date slipped. This was the S20 Ultra. I don't think these phones are going to sell out that fast (or at all) you know with what's going on in the world, right?
In any case, usually these FedEx shipments show up early. Typically they will start moving right around when the charge is placed on the card. When a shipper creates a shipment in their system and it posts to FedEx you will see it even though no package has been shipped. It just shows something is going on with your order. Sometimes you will see several tracking numbers with some getting canceled. Perfectly normal.
I suspect some activity by mid week (this week) and movement by the time next weekend is over. Some may get theirs a day or two early.
Apple likes to troll users by handing packages off to the courier with instructions NOT to deliver before (release date). So you see it scheduled for delivery on a Tuesday (release day Friday in this example) and when Tuesday comes the tracking is updated with instructions to hold until Friday. I hate that!1Launch day is 21st August (certainly in the UK and US) they usually ship by courier the previous day, so expect a tracking number on the 20th.
Samsung used to release it a day earlier (and a week earlier in the distant past) if you ordered direct from them, but I haven't seen this being the case for a long time now.1My LED wallet case already shipped and is supposed to arrive today. I had a pending charge on my CC that disappeared yesterday. I called CS and was told the order is still moving forward, but I am checking Order Status on Sammy's website every day. I'll probably see the charge back on the CC before I get the FedEx shipping notice.
