Hello, in the Japanese Docomo version of the Galaxy Note, there is a Handwriting box switching key at the bottom of the keyboard (the key with a T and a pen symbol on it). See:

I have installed Google Japanese Input Beat and 7note mazec on the International version of the Galaxy Note. I cannot find the Handwriting box switching key on the keyboard. Anybody knows how I can quickly switch between handwriting and keyboard typing? Thanks.

If you have them both installed, you can switch input methods by long-pressing this button:

A dialog will pop-up with "Select input method" and "Google Japanese input config". After selecting the first option, choose mazec.

It is working. Thank you. What is the fastest way to switch from mazec to "Google Japanese input" or other keyboards such as SwiftKey 3? Right now, I just long-pressing at the text composing area. Then, choose "Input method" and finally choose "Google Japanese Input Beta".

Quick change

If you look at the notification bar at the top of your screen while you are typing, notice that it looks like a keyboard symbol is there. Open the notification bar and press it (it says: select input method). ; )

Thanks for this tip. I had this same question but have never birthed to ask before.
