What happened to the Moto G 16GB at amazon.co.uk? I did a pre-order but if I search the site now I can't find any 16GB sold by amazon.co.uk, is that just because all their pre-orders are sold out?

I doubt it,, I did a preorded before and cancelled it, cannot be bothered waiting for amazon to make up the mind when to sell it! probably will return in a day or so... for the last week there were 8GB and 16GB for pre order then 8GB disappear and shows up again.. i am waiting for tesco to get them back in stock for 129... then use the 10 pounds voucher and get it for 119! then unlock it and install the retail GB firmware...

It was locked to TescoUK, got unlock code of eBay for £2.50 30 mins. later.

My Amazon UK pre-order for the 16GB is still showing as delivery on December 12th but it looks like all their pre-order stock has gone judging by the product page today!

Just bought a 16gb for the wife from Dumfries Tesco, for £129. Unlock from eBay for £2.
Installed Antutu and ran benchmarks on it and my Nexus 4, Moto G 17300, Nexus 4 16500.
Its faster (on Antutu) than my Nexus 4!

Looks like is back in stock at Tesco.com ... got a stock alert setup... but never received the email lol, 129 for 16GB and free collect in store! didn't wanna f... about and adding extra discounts cause they probably gonna be gone in few min:laugh:
Snapped up one from Tesco Direct today also. I had an S4 i9506 for a few days in the last week but it was mis-sold as unlocked and I didn't like the AMOLED screen, so it was returned. That cost me £480, the Moto G cost me zip, all done with vouchers. It may well turn out to be a stop gap phone (I'm coming from a creaking 3GS) but the other options on the market seemed either just not right or simply overpriced. I have a Note 8.0 tablet anyway so that covers most game and multimedia interests, therefore I don't actually really need a big phone.
So a quad core phone for nothing (bar the unlock). Looks like there could be some fun ahead.

I don't get it with amazon.co.uk, I e-mailed them and tried to add a back cover to my order of 2x moto g 16gb. Got a answer that they couldn't do that because the order had entered the dispatch process. But when I check the order status now it says not yet dispatched, and the delivery estimate has disappeared and order details says "The following items will arrive after 25 Dec 2013."
Just received my moto g from tesco. But not happy I got the 8gb version when I ordered the 16gb. Already contacted tesco

personally , after having watched the panorama documentary on amazon uk (its on youtube), i'd be inclined not to buy from them,,,
