I'm definitely interested in buying the Global Version since it seems it'll work a little better with T-Mobile USA. Hopefully it goes on sale soon. My OnePlus 7 Pro has served me well but it's time for an upgrade

I bought the MI11 from Trading Shenzhen it took 8 days from China to Portugal, they're listing the Ultra already.

I ordered the MI11 Ultra in white ceramic today at Trading Shenzhen. 12GB/512GB version. Showed 2 units in stock.
Damn.. been a long time since I was that excited to get a new phone. And the first time I paid that much. But now all my amature camera's can leave the building.

I've considered it, but stuck between waiting for the Global variant and having everything work easily, and impulse buying the China version having to flash Xiaomi.eu and losing band 66 coverage. Also worried about having to deal with a janky China Rom while I wait 15 days to unlock the bootloader

I know.... But could't resist. And didn't want to wait for limited European stock to arrive somewhere in Q2.

I would order one from Trading Shenzen right now .
Only problem is that i dont know if i have to pay VAT or other customs fees when importing it . And the main doubt i got is regarding the network bands , 4G and 5G ones . Will this phone work in UK and european countries ? Thanks in advance , waiting a reply from someone who used Trading Shenzen before regarding VAT or extra customs fees .
Do i risk having no signal if i use it in Europe 4G or 5G ?

On the (Dutch) Tweakers forum in regards to ordering the Mi 11, someone stated:

Tip: select Global Priority as a shipping method, you pay a fraction more for the shipping, but you are guaranteed no extra bill for any import duties.

So I hope that will work as well for us with the Ultra, as global priority was selected automatic.

Got my Mi 11 Ultra through from Wondamobile today. Dispatched last Friday, received this morning (with a one day delay in Paris).

For anyone interested in how the Chinese version (from Wonda) is:
    1. Google Play was indeed preinstalled
    2. Not much bloatware - 5-7 apps that I don't want / are in Chinese
    3. Already set to English language. Some Chinese characters on default keyboard, but I switched to SwiftKey, eliminating that
    4. Only Chinese element that I can't change is the search screen
    5. Google Pay / Banking Apps / Netflix etc... etc... seem to work perfectly (although I haven't paid for anything with GPay yet)
    6. Firmware wasn't the latest but updated to new version (which appeared to enable the rear screen viewfinder feature)
Search function being in Chinese is the *only* annoyance of the Chinese version for me so far. Didn't realise the Chinese ROM would be this liveable with.

lucky you! how is it on T-Mobile in the US? my concern was the lack of band 66, but has it been an issue? do you notice slower speeds with the 11 ultra?
Broo forget about 66 !!! Is old band. Im getting 5G everywhere. I repeat lmao everywhere. In bad reception area I'm getting LTE with better speed than Snapdragon 865 Plus lool
    Im on TMobile US.
