Yep - Has anyone had a shipping email yet?

When I heard about the loose docking connection on another thread here i was ready to cancel my order and wait a few months but now its in stock, i might as well wait and hope i'm a lucky one with a sturdy dock connection!

Mine is being packed now. The dock thing does concern me slightly but the fact that asus have acknowledged a problem surely means they will fix it should a problem arise. Like you said, I'll just hope I have a good one

oh no :( be with us :D
I'm really torn. Nothing wrong with my TF700 at the moment. We have 2 good kernel devs for the TF700 stock. So dev will be really slow without them at first. Have we got anyone working on TWRp yet? I can produce a root file to flash if so as a starter ;)

The dock issue really worries me. My order has been cancelled ...... The trio really does tempt me.

Cheap if you will look what you are getting plus I think we all expected price to be around 1000-1200 but yes your right 900 quid comparing to 429 for a T701T is expensive.
Agreed 899 is an excellent price. You get a pretty decent top range laptop 500 and then you get a good Asus transformer for 400. And it all fits together as one.

I think I just convinced myself ;) Especially as Asus seemed to have messed up the TF701.

it is 2 OS in one so two different storage, and i think it is using a Solid state for the windows partition. so the price is dictated by windows and the SSD

For last few months I was looking into buying Trio but Windows 8 discouraged me, I hopped it will be better after 8.1 update but I still want to punch screen when I'm trying to find something, so few weeks ago I've changed my mind and I almost bought TF701T but decided to wait for first reviews here, but know I'm not sure which one will be a better choice.

tf701t has arrived!

Got mine from ebuyer.

My dock connection seems sturdy enough. Haven't observed any reconnection issues yet.

Very happy so far!

Do you think Ebuyer have a got a later batch that may have sorted some of the issues? Anyone else got one from Ebuyer? Seems to be the only place in the UK that you can get one from at the moment! (Barring pre-orders)
