Do you think Ebuyer have a got a later batch that may have sorted some of the issues? Anyone else got one from Ebuyer? Seems to be the only place in the UK that you can get one from at the moment! (Barring pre-orders)
You can get it from laptopsdirect as well for £434 and BHS/DEBENAMS for £445 and few on amazon but not from them directly.

I have mine from ebuyer today. No problems at all. Actually very nice indeed. Just automatically updated to 4.3 too! As for the dock, no connection issues at all. It is a touch on the loose side when in the dock but not much. I love it.

I wouldn't be surprised if we got a later batch in the UK. Remember our dock is going to be different to the US / Europe models because it uses a UK Keyboard layout complete with £ symbols.

I hope it will be available from amazon soon, but i'm still not sure should i go for TF701T or G-Note 10.1 2014 which i can get for £360.

OK I'm back in! :D How could I desert the Asus scene :D

I loaned a Note 10.1 2014 from a friend at work for a day. There are some nice features with the s-pen if you want to use it at work to take notes and some of the multi screen stuff is funky but overall I feel a hybrid laptop is more important to me. I can be more productive with a dock and the USB support is a must for me when I'm travelling in Japan etc....

So it's coming on Saturday ;) I see CWM is out too. I'll start dissecting the latest Asus 4.3 ROM as soon as I get my hands on it.

Mine arrived at 8.45am :) Just installing the 4.3 updated OTA.

Is incredibly smooth so far, like many say you can actually do something when installing apps etc. My poor TF700 has been cast aside and will probably get a full hard reset before moving on to pastures new. This is what the TF700 should have been like :(

Haven't tried the dock yet but will report back later. Still prefer the aluminium feel of the TF700 dock but the TF701 dock does feel sturdy considering its plastic construction.

Only gripe so far, WHY DID ASUS CHANGE THE DAMN CONNECTOR! Grrrrr.... :cyclops:

They keep the connector proprietary so you can only buy their dock. Smart business strategy annoying for the user

I'm really tempted to buy it right know from eBuyer but I will wait a bit longer maybe PC Word/Currys will get it soon where I can get it -10%. I'm just not sure will it be available there any time soon and is it worth waiting.

True plus John Lewis looks like only place where you can get Transformer Trio at the moment.
Chap at work got his Trio from John Lewis today. It's surprisingly tidy ;)

It's a bit bigger than I thought it would be so great for WIndows 8 as 10" is too small imo.

The version of Android is 4.2.2 and it's fairly snappy. It switches between android and windows in the blink of an eye. Interestingly the android system sees the 500GB Hard disk but we couldn't see a way of making Windows see the Android system or my micro SD. It wanted to connect over WiFi in order to share that way.

The unit looks very well made. The tablet itself has dual speakers which is nice and looks well made. It is quite large for a tablet so does feel a bit weird to hold. Not great for one handed operation.

Together they total 1.7KG which is a heavy laptop,

Overall I was impressed. I might start saving my pennies to get one. ;)
