Where's our Nougat update ZTE??

Nope, keep the update.zip file compressed. Transfer it to the first screen you see on your computer when you open the window for the sdcard folder the top directory as it's called.

And no problems Bud techs a passion, I used a raspberry pi to help me upgrade. It's my main computer apart from a pine64. (Ps, I detest Microsoft and Windows, too many rules and regs, and viruses.) Lol.

Thanks a lot buddy it worked! Now i officially have Nougat on my phone after 7 months of usage *lol*,
it feels somewhat smoother, other than split screen mode I dont know any other new features about Nougat, know any?

Try out the display size option, it crams more onto your display really looks good oh and it now also has battery cooling monitor so if your apps run the battery hot, you can close down stuff oh...there's more but.....I'm gonna let you explore.....I'm glad to have helped.... enjoy and spread the word. it's made me love the phone all the more.....oh and one last thing....now, when you set a profile in Dolby Atmos, it stays on that profile without jumping between them....I have movie mode on....if your a dance music fan, put it on and go and watch the BBC Ibiza proms video on YouTube....blown away with the sound...

WOW i tried the display size option, its fantastic, Now I use it on small display (gonna get used to it) and the battery cooling monitor is awesome too!, for the dolby atmos, they still havent fixed the sliders, if i use for e.g bass higher it resets back to 50% (Aw no!) but other than that, great!

please help......i dowload AXON 7 mini(B2017G) SD card software package(328500B2304ZTE B2017G V1.0.0B12) from ztedevice site , and put in SD card , but in phone say There are no online update packages.

1st. of all - 1.0.0.B12 - Android 6.0.1 firmware
2nd. - The phone will see the firmware only in the correct file named update.zip !
Open downloaded archive file.
If there one more archive named update.zip (sometimes it happens) - put it (update.zip) into root folder on youre phone or sd-card.
If there a lot of different files and folders - close archive file, rename it to update.zip and put it into root folder on youre phone or sd-card.
3rd. Check updates in youre settings menu and install firmware.
4th. Profit!!11oneone

Ah, USA.
I'm not sure, but u should not install european firmwares. The question is in the frequencies used in you're country.
Anyway in this case u'd better ask those who also uses US versions of this phone.

Well, u can try but there is a probability that you're phone will not work properly.
I rly don't know what can happen in you're case. You do this at your own risk.
I sent u message with link to prepared update.zip and instructions.

Nougat if fully released in the US on the Mini, can't you just accept the OTA and go? In some cases you need to remove the SIM, reboot, and connect to WiFi to install it.

I'm from Finland and there's still no OTA Nougat for me either but i hate doing manual updates and the main reason is my piece of **** Vista PC that crashes all the time! I don't want to use it often and i only use it if i have to! So, there will be no OTA Nougat for EU users ever and the only way is to update manually? I'd rather wait even couple more months if it eventually comes available through OTA.

You have to get to the latest version of Marshmallow first, take each OTA in step.

Even if you had the update.zip file, it would not apply... they are for a specific version and to a specific version. Have to upgrade to latest Marshmallow first either way.

Locked bootloader prevents this... when it's locked you can only flash an image with the same signature (UK to UK, EU to EU, USA to USA).

Honestly people, just have patience, sometimes these things just take time. Come over to my Moto X threads on Nougat 7.0 (yes, 7.0 and not 7.1), it's roll out started in April and so far it's only Latin America, EU, and India... In the US, UK, and half of Europe and Asia we are still waiting with zero word from Moto/Lenovo. See how people are there, when I read this thread I kind of chuckle how you guys are getting upset by a month behind.

Thanks to Virusjammer, I have followed his advise and flashed the Spanish B09 marshmallow followed by the Russian B12 Nougat and now have 7.1.1. Happy Days.
