imx258 probe succeeded

Beginning to seem pretty unlikely that samsung story holds true. Or maybe for the first versions, or maybe... it's the 4i's sensor and that's where the confusion came from? Eh.

I found Google Camera searching in Google. For some reason it was not showing in Play store. I can record 4k videos with my Mi4c 2GB/16GB.

No idea, that seems pretty weird. Did you try doing it after a reboot? If not could you try that and see if it's still there?
I did it after reboot. I also did it all againg, and it's showing the same result.
Googled sunny and realized it's a Chinese company "Sunny Optronics", making lenses for major manufacturers.
Low light example:

Your google drive pics aren't public. You can upload them as attachments for easier viewing.
Do you think you could have a newer iteration of the camera, with a better lens for low-light pictures?
Do you mind sharing where and when you got your phone?

OK, sorry for that, now I've altered the settings, images should be visible.
I don't really know the quality of other people's pictures, so can't really tell if this one is better. Quality for sure is excellent for it's price range.
I bought it online at Aliexpress, store name is Goldway Honk Kong. It was 195,00 EUR with 2,69 EUR shipping for standard bundle 2GB RAM/16GB ROM. Oredere on 26th January, arrived 22 days later.

To me those do seem like great for low lighting, better than what I've seen. But that could just be confirmation bias, and it's pretty much impossible to know from the end result, how much light was actually there in the first place.
But I rarely take photos tbh so I've got nothing that comes even close to compare it to. Maybe someone with some photo experience will chime in.

imx258_sunny means that the sensor is from Sony (258) and optics are from Chinese company Sunny Optical Technology.

Those, who have imx258, have sensor from Sony and optics from another Chinese company - Ou Feiguang (Ophelia light optics).

Whose lenses are better - Feiguang or Sunny, I have no idea. We can compare! Provide some photos in daylight and low light, please! Those who have just imx258 and those who have imx258_sunny
