since I'm on MIUI I usually use its own launcher, but from time to time I like to check what is new in ADWLauncher EX (licensed) and in GO Launcher EX.

the moment that a stable (by stable I mean everything is working without workarounds) ICS is available for my Desire Z, I'll switch to Nova Launcher - already tested it a while ago and it is really smooth and well designed.

I use:

-Launcher Pro with AOSP ROMs
-Apex Launcher/Nova on ICS
-Stock Rosie on Sense ROMs

I always try to keep the look of the launcher consistent with the theme of the interface of each ROM.

I find Go Launcher is a bit cluttered, bloated and slow at times with a lot of reloads. As for ADW EX, i've never really liked it too much because it also was always slow for me.

I generally avoid launchers that support a lot of theming, except for MIUI where theming is consistent throughout the ROM, i can't ever seem to find a theme that will seem consistent with the interface as as a whole.

I'm curious to try a few of the launchers mentioned here though, this is a good thread :).

At a time I have used Go Launcher Ex, but the eye candy, while fancy and cool at first, became dull and annoying.

Having been through each and every type of ROM - AOSP, MIUI, ICS, you name it - I find myself returning to Sense ROMs each time.

Probably because of Rosie and the other apps in the Sense framework. Can't wait until the Sense 4.0 becomes usable enough for DD. I'm surely gonna keep that!

Currently using Sense 4.0 stock launcher as i'm trying Virtuous Primadonna but the one I used most till now was ADW Ex as it is light and fast and provides me with every options i need.

Go Launcher Ex on gingerbread - just for the tweak possibilities. On ICS Apex Launcher seemed very promising in it's pure elegance.

Recently been using Launcher7. I don't use many apps regularly, so it's nice to have the 5 or 6 I do very easily accessible. I also like the notification tiles for gmail, calls, and texts. If only it worked with whatsapp. It doesn't handle large widgets well however.
Worth trying out, even if just for something new.
