I also use Nova Prime. I just checked out Action and really dug it but ran into some issues... The first was the administrator lock thing a couple others mentioned, that's pretty inconvenient. I also couldn't find a way to disable the app drawer. With that quick launch menu drawer thing, toggled by swiping from the left edge, I didn't need the drawer any more, but I couldn't find the option to disable it. Lastly, can you not change the folder icons like you can on Nova? I wanted to make my folders an icon without a preview, but I couldn't find a way to customize them... Back to Nova for now unless someones got the answers im looking for, I've never had any trouble with it.

Settings/App drawer/Disable quick drawer. Or Settings/Shortcut/Horizontal Swipe

Swipe up on folder/Select 3 dots in bottom right corner.
I think this is what you were asking about.

Trying out Action Launcher 3, to get as close to Pixel Launcher as possible. (That said I'm going to be adding more stuff as time goes by, to try to get a mix of my usual Nova setup and Pixel)

I have always been forced to add Nova Prime to my Samsung phones. The V20 UI with Nougat makes Nova unnecessary for me. LG has added many of the customization options found in Nova. Something Samsung has never done.

I've tried alot of launchers but Action 3 is my favorite. I really like the gestures and covers. I have tried Nova Prime and liked it as well. I also really liked Aviate. I just like how easy it organized everything.

I've used Nova Prime for years, but haven't installed it yet on the LG.

How do 3rd party launchers affect the second screen, if at all?

And is there any launcher that preserves the knock on/off feature of LG? I know a few allow knock off, but I really want knock on as well.

I've been pretty happy with stock, so if any of the above are affected negatively I'll stick with stock.

Nova launcher works great with the second screen been using it since day 1 with the V20
