I'd personally say the Z1 anytime over the Note 3 however, if you add the LG G2 to the mix, its tougher.. I've had the Z1 for 2 months now and personally, I'm regreting not waiting for the G2..

Both are good at their places

Note 3 = display quality, stylus, removable battery, 4k recording, microusb 3.0

Z1 = camera quality, water/dust proof, build quality, (DoomLord :laugh

The only thing N3 has over the Z1 is a better display which by the way is very critiqued by the reviewers. I myself liked the N3s display better

but the Z1 is the better device in every important aspect, buying the N3 was the biggest mistake I made in the last 6 month so don't you do it...

I had the note 3, build quality was crap, got red hot, purple tint to screen and the home button moved around, only thing I would say was the battery was removable but I've always had enough left over on the z1
