My mobile is the j5 sm 500fn.
I want to give it a second life.
What rom do you recommend that is fluid and good battery consumption.
I imagine that yours is a current android due to the issue of compatibility of the applications.
I don't know if that matters much though.

I have seen that there are some custom stock, I think it would be a good option, right?

Hello brother, if you want to be honest
lineage os 17 is a good ROM, but the battery consumes a lot of battery, but it is stable
If you want to use the lineage os 18.1 ROM, which is newer and has no bugs and does not consume much battery, it is also stable.
The choice is yours

Brother, I don't know what programs you use. If you have programs that require at least Android 10 or higher, use lineage os 18.1.

I have j700h and j500h, it works in the official mobile data ROM and it does not work in custom ROMs.
It is not better if I buy the 4G model
But I always use Wi-Fi
