I have my Whitestone glass installed, and it works perfectly with my Zizo Bolt.

I know that others have reported this, but I wanted to post some pictures to show you what a nearly perfect install looks like with the case on.

I took a picture of all 4 corners, so no full phone picture.

Please excuse the dust, but our house is extremely dusty (none got under the glass during installation).

As a side note, yes the Whitestone is a very tight fit, but if you're careful, and start by pushing the bottom in first (both sides at the same time, and not at an angle), then push in the middle-top to pop the rest of your phone in, there should be zero issues with the screen lifting.

Also, when you take the case off, take your time and do not rip it off or your glass with lift.

I took the case off 4 times, and put it on 5 times in a row as a test with no screen lift.

Whitestone with the Seidio Dilex is a home run.

https://www.seidioonline.com/product/samsung-note-8-dilex/
I'm looking at this case too, so questions of concern.

1) For those Dilex cases, can it evenly lay dead flat on table? According to the images on the company website, it cannot cuz of the kickstand is sticking out at the back; so it wobbles on the table.

2) Dilex or Dilex Kryptek, hows the hand feel? Smooth / silicon glossy, rubbery, or Matte? Can't tell from the company photos.

Thanks a million

Looking to get the ZeroLemon 10,000mah Battery Case for the Note 8

I haven't found it on any Third Party or Official compatibility lists.

Can anyone confirm that it's compatible?

When your installing the Whitestone Tempered Glass, right after you pour the glue to the screen there's a little slack meaning you can slightly move the tempered glass a little to the top or bottom before you cure it with the uv light. My question is before you cured the tempered glass did you move the Whitestone all the way to the top or bottom of the phone??

This is my setup. I put a vinyl skin on the back and camera, a Unicorn Beetle Pro Case (popped out screen protector that came with it), and a White stone Dome glass screen protector. Looks good and I'm happy with the protection. :D Heres links if anyone wants to do the same

I'm not sure that I did move it, if I did it was accidental. But do a dry run with no glue, see where things line up. Check and see where case lands on your screen, then see where WSD lands on your screen and make adjustments accordingly move to top or bottom if need be or leave as is what ever to make sure case lands on top and bottom edges of WSD. I'm pretty sure I didn't move WSD when I cured it though. Good luck, just my advice take it or leave it.

Yes, with around 1-2 mm distance from edge of case to glass. Have tried to remove and put on case, it's totally safe
well, I'm waiting for amazone for tomorrow, but I have doubts about my whitstone, create a black line on one side of the display and I do not know whether to return it or not, your film has that line on the edge? look at the photo.

Shave the bottom 2 corners of the alcantara case and it works great. Make the profile match the top 2.

How'd you go about trimming the case? And did it expose any plastic from the case when you did? I'm hesitant to potentially butcher such a beautiful case but if it needs to die, it'll die

I actually used a dremel, fine sand wheel to get the shape, then.... shhhhh.... i used my wifes fancy 6 in 1 nail sander and worked it smooth. Hit it lightly with a lighter to catch any burrs. If it exposed anything, I can't see it.

So far, not one peeled up edge of the screen protector. It is a nice case, but it does get worn on heavy usage. I will absolutely need another one within a year.

Sounds bit involved lol, but I'll give it a go.

Also instead of buying a new case you could clean/revive your case with some alcantara cleaner and a fine brush. I believe a brand called sonax makes a good cleaner but any will do really. I have a car detailing business and my higher end client cars often have alcanatara in them

This may be quite a stretch and even potentially a stupid idea.... But with that being said, has anyone thought to or maybe already has tried using the S8+ version as it's a bit shorter and would in theory be more case compatible??
