Whitestone dome alternate replacement glass

Sorry to make another Whitestone dome thread but I remember reading on XDA months ago about people trying other glass screen protectors with the adhesive/UV light and jig from a Whitestone dome kit.

Essentially I broke my Whitestone dome and I don't really feel like paying them another 35USD just for the glass. Does anybody have any experience trying this?

I'm glad you responded. I'm currently debating this exact issue with your customer service team.

They are saying my warranty is only through the distributer (MobileZapp) and it is impossible to register the product on whitestone's website. Meanwhile, other distributers (Mobilefun UK) can be registered on the website and receive a warranty replacement.

Would you like to see my conversation with your customer service representative?

I'm buying from Amazon USA but I'm currently living outside the USA.So I will use third-party parcel.
is it covered under ur limited warranty if god forbids it broke?

I think you're going to have a tough time of it. You can see my interaction with whitestone's customer service attached;

Now customer service and the XDA whitestone rep are eerily silent.

For me it is the second time that after a small fall breaks in a corner, I'm looking for a valid alternative, but I do not know which one.

this little one works well but it's very delicate, it got me tired,
I can not ask for the replacement every time I fall.

Unfortunately after my last email exchange with Whitestone they have decided to ignore me. Great customer service guys. Pretend you don't have a lifetime warranty and then ignore me when I prove it to you.

I'll give the aliexpress one a go.
