Definitely WhiteStone glass perform and feel much better than TPU film protectorI hate that I messed up the first application but the second attempt is good enough. Definitely love how the glass feels compared to the stickiness of tpu.

days later the tracking number finally said they got the package. then a few more days of it sitting in LA. and more back and forth with customer support. i am not impressed.Over 24 hours later and my order still has NOT shipped. I was given a US post tracking number, but all it gives me is "label created, not yet in system"
What BS from whitestone. I have replied to customer support
"It has been well over 24 hours since I have received a US Postal tracking number and it STILL has not actually shipped. Where is my order!?
This whole fiasco is becoming more and more unacceptable and brand damaging. I used to talk to highly of your company and it's products. I pushed many friends and family to pay for the more expensive screen protectors from you. But now? Not happening.
Unsatisfied and very upset with the complete disregard for the early customer and terrible purchasing experience. 3 weeks and the order is still not out the door, while newer orders are still getting prioritized and delivered within days! Even AMAZON orders are getting to customers faster!
I ask again, where is my order and when is it getting to me!?"
This has been an ever increasing frustrating experience to say the least. Even more so when they stopped making screen protectors for pixel phones after the pixel 3
finally. 1 month after i initially placed my order. i got my order. the product came in a bubble envelope, and the box inside slightly squished. inspecting the box, nothing inside was harmed.days later the tracking number finally said they got the package. then a few more days of it sitting in LA. and more back and forth with customer support. i am not impressed.
customer service gave me some generic bs response about international orders taking 21+ days to arrive (even though they can see that i am in canada, yes technically international but nothing coming from the states should take 21+ days to arrive after shipping)
Jan 7th 6 full days after i was told my order would be shipped out asap, their tracking still said "Pre-shipment info sent to USPS". 6 days is NOT as soon as possible to me. especially when they had the order for 3 weeks at that time.
Jan 8th my order FINALLY left the US. Jan 11th it finally got through customs in BC. Jan 13 finally got to my province.
today marks the 4th week after i placed my order and i still have not received my order. Canada post ETA is for monday Jan 17. 1 day short a whole month of waiting for my order. nothing on the website said it was a pre-order.
i left a review on their site with a good review on the product but also with my complaints about customer service and delivery. apparently my review has been "submitted for approval". so i doubt it will get posted. what a crock of ****finally. 1 month after i initially placed my order. i got my order. the product came in a bubble envelope, and the box inside slightly squished. inspecting the box, nothing inside was harmed.
installation isn't any different from past whitestone screen installations. and it feels so nice to be back to a smooth surface. i had a TPU screen protector before. i have 4 different cases. a noname thin hard plastic case from amazon, and 3 spigen. the liquid air, thin fit, and tough armor. the touch armor is at work so ill have to do a fitting with that tomorrow, but the other 2 spigen cases fit with no real gaps around the edges, the glass goes right up to the case on the curved sides. i have no worries the touch armor one will fit without issue. the thin hard plastic case doesn't cover the sides of the screen like the spigen ones do, so there is a big gap between the case and the screen protector. not the protectors fault.
i didn't bother putting on the tpu camera protector. i haven't seen good results with glass ones so i assume a plastic tpu one won't fair better.
overall it's nice to be back on glass rather than tpu, the install wasn't that bad if you've done them before like i have (watch the video first, then follow along and follow the instructions). it's just a a big of a pain to do, but give way better results. case compatibility is there.
but the delivery of the order. that was unacceptable. having the manufacture forget/ignore your order and start filling out newer orders head of even attempting to ship yours out? unacceptable. claiming and lying "Our fulfillment center is prioritizing the older orders first. We have requested your order be shipped asap" then not doing anything for a week? a slap in the face. it took longer for them to actually give the package to the US postal service than it took to get the package into my country (canada) and then ship the package across the country. i can literally get things from china faster. no formal apology from the company, no reimbursement, no offers to try to make it right. no follow up. nothing.
i won't order direct from their site anymore. screw em. i'll order off of amazon. (i'm in IT person i have 4 other work issued pixel 6 pros i need to get glass screen protectors for it's been a pain with what's available. so i'm kind of stuck with whitestone products as there is literally nothing else that doesn't have a hole cut out for the fingerprint scanner available)
product good. customer support and delivery terrible.
no. i paid the $15.50 USD for shipping. no extra duty or taxes after it came across the border@green_link Were you charged extra taxes or duties for the shipment to you?
What case are you using? Tight cases WILL cause the protector to pull up.i mean the fingerprint scanner works fine but the problem is that the screen protector started to pull up in the corners .
I've had my Whitestone on since the 31st of December and there's no lifting at all or signs that the glue is weakening around the edges. It pretty much looks the same as the day I put the protector on. Mocolo probably uses an inferior LOCA and sadly it doesn't hold up well over time.Found out what causes the lift since my case wasn't incontact with my mocolo but still had lift.
Turns out the display has a little flex if you push against the sides of the LCD you can notice the lift will increase
Even though you don't make contact will protector
Saying that even with lift mocolo doesn't hamper display since it's on edges.
So regardless any pressure on the curve can cause a d increase the lift
Aye had since November but it's the glue yournrihht but also the fact the pixel screen has flex.I've had my Whitestone on since the 31st of December and there's no lifting at all or signs that the glue is weakening around the edges. It pretty much looks the same as the day I put the protector on. Mocolo probably uses an inferior LOCA and sadly it doesn't hold up well over time.
Hey, just wondering: how do you remove the loca glue if you mess up your first attempt?
That's a good question I've wondered myself. The first (proper) search result for this Google search (not the videos) leads to Whitestone's answer here.Hey, just wondering: how do you remove the loca glue if you mess up your first attempt?
I still haven't installed mine because I'm afraid of messing up the phone. But I don't see myself using the screen naked...
Fyi, if you use this code, you loose out on the free 2-day shipping and you will be defaulted to the standard $5.99 shipping.
In the end, the code still brings the total to be $1.50 cheaper than without... But the real question is, is 2 day shipping worth it for $1.50?
I say, hell yes.
If you can find something for $1, use this code instead.
XMAS25
Also, whitedome is Not an American company. Fyi if you didn't know.
Working Codes:
12% OFF [XMAS12]
*NO MINIMUM PURCHASE REQUIRED
25% OFF [XMAS25]
*WITH A MINIMUM PURCHASE OF $35
THANKYOU21 works, but it brings price below $30 and you pay for shipping.
A UV kit for the regular 6 is weird. They usually just do normal protectors for phones with flat screens.
At least the installation trays look like they got a major upgrade in materials and they aren't charging the usual $50+ for either phone.
The THANKYOU21 code works for $6 off.
*Please be informed shipping for this item will be only available from 28th Dec onwards. Shipping will be on the first order, first served basis.
Hi, just adding my vote for creating tempered glass screen protectors for the Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6. Thanks!
Hi
Thank you for reaching out to us.
we might be selling Pixel 6 series Dome Glass but we need to purchase the device and then develop them so it will take some times.
Thank you,
I have this one (CoverOn) on my phone right now and no, fingerprint reader does not work. Several other people have mentioned this particular one doesn't work for them either (as with all the others). I am keeping it on though b/c it's nice, fits well, does well with not leaving too many smudges/prints, etc. Also feels nice. Until one comes out that works with the fingerprint reader, I'll stay with this and use a pin. I like the protection of tempered glass vs. TPU/PET, etc..Dont the current ones out there have problems with fingerprint reader?
