I ordered one and will be here tomorrow. My concern is how do you remove it if you want to replace it? That glue they use looks like Bondic. Bondic is a UV activated glue that hardens under the UV light and is incredibly strong. Before i apply it i need to find out what it is and if i can be easily removed if it breaks or gets all scratched up.
One of their videos on their Youtube had them remove it after a couple drop tests.

Removal is at 44 seconds. sorry for the cut off link, since it won't let new users include them

Mine arrived today. Haven't opened it. Debating whether I want to apply it since my IQ Shield full body is already perfectly applied. May wait for more feedback or I might get really bored and just apply it.
Understand that entirely and can relate. If boredom sets in, be sure to provide feedback!

Go watch either of the drop videos that Whitestone has on YouTube. Both show the removal about halfway through.

Seems as easy, maybe easier than a film. No residue/damage.

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to chime in - I ordered two of these one for my s7 edge and one for the s8 plus. The S7 edge package arrived today. I just applied it. I was very nervous. Everything went smoother than I could have thought. It applied perfectly. Screen sensitivity feels so much better than the tgsp I pulled off. The noted dead spots are quickly responsive once again with this new product. My package with the S8+ screen protector arrives tomorrow I will leave feedback once applied. As noted this product is on the pricey side however I feel it is money well spent. Perfect glass screen with great responsiveness. No input on removal, as with any luck I will never remove this from the phone.

Please give feedback after a few days too. [emoji1]

EDIT: Also anyone out there know if the phone will still work with the GearVR with a TGSP?

Then you also end up with a refurb. I would rather protect and keep the one I have working, set up, and can rely on. Just my opinion, different strokes and all.

Having spent a small fortune on glass screen protectors for my S7E, there is no way I'll do it again for the S8. None of them are any good. They just can't get it right.

For anyone interested in the Whitestone Dome glass:
I just received mine today, and I am extremely happy about my choice (so far). It was slightly complicated to install (as the video would suggest), but following the video resulted in a pretty much perfect installation for me. There was a tiny bit of excess adhesive at the top of the protector by the speaker bar, but a few scrapes from my finger nail took care of that.

Case compatibility:
I have the Spigen Neo Hybrid, as well as the Olixar X-Duo (using the Olixar and I actually like it a lot better than the Spigen). I specifically asked Whitestone's Amazon front if the Neo Hybrid was compatible, assuming that if the one is the Olixar will be as well (same basic construction). They assured me that it would be, but you need to wait 3 hours post-UV for the adhesive to fully cure before putting on the case. I did that, put the Olixar on, and lo-and-behold, it fits perfectly. I don't have any uplift whatsoever. I haven't tried it with the Neo Hybrid, as the Olixar is my daily driver, but I can only assume it works.

Impressions:
Not the sleekest of protectors out there. The edges of the glass are raised, not beveled down like a true 2.5D protector, however I barely notice with the case on. However, it's the first (and only, as far as I know) screen protector that actually works full-coverage on the S8. Because the adhesive is full-coverage, there's no air gaps and no loss of sensitivity. The force-touch home button works like there's nothing there but the phone itself. My only concern is that the glass is thick enough that if placed face-down, the lip from the case may not be enough to prevent the screen from touching whatever surface you're laying it on. That being said, since it's a tempered glass, it should be fine scratch-wise (apart from sand/granitic dust, which would still scratch it regardless of the protector) and will protect the phone screen from shattering. I'll be leaving it on, so I don't have any indication of how easy it is to take off. But overall, if you're clumsy like me and need something a little extra there to prevent your screen from cracking, I'd highly recommend the Whitestone.

This is great news! Thanksfor being the communities guinea on this. Can you post photos?

Just received mine and installed as well. The shape is a bit off, but definitely covers the full screen. The installation isn't too difficult, especially if you follow the youtube videos. What I found important was to have a very level surface and to make SURE the adhesive blob is right smack in the middle of the screen. I had no excess around the edges and it's pretty much perfect. Will post pictures in a bit.

PS, fits like a glove with the MNML case on mine

Mine came in today but won't get a chance to install it until probably around 10 Eastern tonight as my wife is doing a dialysis treatment right now which I help her with. I will post later my thoughts on it. I have high expectations. The concept makes perfect sense in my mind so I hope it works out!

I can't seem to figure out embedding attachments, so I'll describe. The first 4 are without any case and the last 4 are with a MNML case on. You can tell by the slightly brownish border after the case is on. Enjoi
Holy c&#p! That looks awesome! Comparing that to every other protector I've seen wouldn't even be fair. It looks that much better. Dang it, now I may have to buy one of these. Ha ha.

Yeah, this is definitely not like the other screen protectors that only stick on the borders. It's basically bonded to the screen, edge to edge. Instead of having the adhesive on the back of the screen, you pour it out on a blob onto your phone, and the drop the screen on and watch the adhesive crawl across the screen. So far, the oleophobic coating seems to be pretty good on it too, there's no unusual tackiness or other inconsistency in screen smoothness to the touch.

There is absolutely zero change in touch sensitivity.

So, it's expensive, and the shape is slightly off, but to me I think it's worth it because it gives me peace of mind. Forgetting scratches, in my experience a glass screen protector helps in preventing the screen from shattering. That makes this worth it for me

I just hope I can remove the damn thing!

Did you watch the removal, by chance? Looks easier to get off than most films.

Yeah I did, it's the only reason I put it on at all. I was honestly going to wait until someone else tried it but the removal video changed my mind.
So would you do again, now that you've taken the plunge? I'm close to making a purchase. I've got a GPEL but I just feel so-so about it. This looks much more refined, and let's be honest this is a $900 phone and I don't want to use something that makes it feel cheap, which is kinda what I think of the GPEL.

Absolutely, especially since I'm used to having tempered glass screen protectors on my devices. I'll admit, Gorilla Glass 5 seems more scratch resistant than 4, but I still appreciate another slab that I can peel off and throw away.
